He played him , not really through choice, he now has Simms as an excuse not to. I’m glad Simms is getting a chance mind and Thorniley but Kaikai!!

He didn’t play him early season when we were everybody’s whipping boy. He stuck with a losing team, he was then almost forced into playing him and he has been well worth his place ever since.

He wouldn't leave Madine out of the squad if he was fit. So I think you're wrong here tbh.
 
I wonder if Man City came in with a late bid for Goal Machine yesterday and we refused it, therefore pissing him off and that’s why he’s not playing?

Madine was hopeless last season and in pre season. He didn't warrant a place.
 
looks like a 4-3-3, as there's clearly 3 central midfielders there, kaikai and yates out wide, Simms on his own centrally
 
Looking forward to seeing Stewart and Simms starting tonight, but I hope goal machine is fit and available for selection against Ipswich. His experience and physical presence will be a big advantage.
 
Believe there was some agent talk about Robson heading to Scotland last night, but he's stayed.
Realise he's not been as imposing of late, but would still like to see him feature
Is he injured?
 
Looks like 4-3-3 but not sure.
Critchy does like his 2 wide men to left on right and right on left but we've run out of lefties so that's why I think it will be 4-3-3.
Shaw and Apter are both lefties.
