Tashan Oakley-Booth. Edited: Interview.......

If you didn't know anything about him but just watched his little cameo against Hibs I think you would be optimistic to say the least. A solid built lad, 6 ' tall, showed great ball control and retention and gave the impression he had been brought up at a higher level ( which he has ). Who knows , time will tell, fingers crossed on this one. Like someone said, low risk. Good luck to him

Played at Lincoln with Virtue?
Virtue had better stats but some want him out

Signings at this stage should be to either fill gaps in or to improve the squad. It seems to me that we are certainly short of quality up front and on the wings. And in terms of midfield Moxon would certainly improve it and generate some goals, but that looks unlikely now.
Not sure about this signing and hope he is not intended to replace an exiting Virtue (who should be starting), but good look to him. He appears to have a lot to prove and he is at an age when he needs to do that soon. With a name of Tashan Oakley-Booth it could make for an interesting chant

I'm guessing we won't be keeping all of the midfield and if any do go it's for a bit of cash, maybe even getting a big earner in Trybull off the books and freeing up space and wages for a better striker than we could have afforded.

Hard to gauge how good he is. Did very little on loan to clubs in Scotland prior to moving to Ireland. Seems the drop in standard from an already not brilliant standard has got him firing?

I would put Airtricity League of Ireland at D2 standard so stand out players should handle D1.
Danny Mandroiu of Lincoln is an example?
