Utter madness of an innings by Pakistan, they really are a joy to watch as it is impossible to predict them. Huge sixes, dropped catches, more rain and now a challenging total for South Africa to try and chase.

185-9 at the halfway stage.
 
Raining again and SA behind on DL at 69/4. Brings Pakistan back into the Group reckoning if it stays like this.
 
Yep great innings from Pakistan when they lost early wickets.
Once again DLS comes in to play favouring the opening batting side, light drizzle their last 4 overs so they went balls out and piled on the ruins knowing what was coming.
Yes S A lost early wickets but its only going to be more difficult for them now when they come out.
 
Such a shame India got gifted the win. Both groups would be hugely interesting on their final games.
 
BBC live updates making out SA had a chance to get a result. The DLS and reduced overs turned this into another farce.
 
So it looks like Ind v Eng.

Let's hope the weather doesn't interfere and we get a good game with the best team going through.

The other game, NZ v SA looks good too.

You wouldn't bet against an ENG v NZ final.
 
My maths could be way off and I’m not 100% of the NRR rule but looks like Aussies have to beat Afghanistan by 60odd more runs than we beat Sri Lanka by…..not beyond the realms imo, obviously it changes with different teams batting first. Can see Aussies batting first scoring 220 and skittling Afghanistan for 80….. Sril Lanka will have no pressure and our batting isn’t exactly firing on all cylinders as yet. Still I expect us to Qualify but it wouldn’t be like England not to give us a scare at some point. Then hammer Kohli’s India on the Semi’s, really detest him and can’t say I’m fond of the India team full stop….win by any means necessary

If we both win, Australia would need to a bigger winning margin by either 60 runs or 7 overs. That's not impossible but very difficult against what should be a motivated Afghanistan team.

Don't get me wrong, Sri Lanka is far from a gimme, I only hope weather doesn't play it's part to conspire against England.

Kohli isn't captain any more, but he is objectionable
