Seasiders Podcast Post Match Show 830pm

Pretty downbeat. Understandably. Let's hope Sadler shakes things up a bit....

And I do hope we see more opportunities for some of the dev squad products. Apter, Moore, and one or two others.

Big thanks to you all on the podcast, it's great for exiles like me to help us keep up with things and get a feel for how other fans are feeling and thinking.

Cheers!

You asked in the comments "who touches the ball most"

I don't know over the season (it always used to be Jimmy when he played left back - I'll have look later) but in recent games it's actually been Sonny who has played much more of a link role and consequently had a lot more bal. Not sure on Saturday. Likely a centre back.

Insider's match "Stats again" thread names the player with the most touches each game. This season it has usually been one of the back three. Previously, with a back four, it was usually one of the full backs.

Against Barnsley last week it was Carey.

Thanks td.
I was thinking Marv, but that could just be how it felt as we collectively hid behind the sofa on several occasions last season.

Sonny looked quality when given time to take the ball. He's always looked lost when asked to play the role of the ball winning midfielder. Another player whose talents whatever they may be were not used properly last season.
