Just reading that Eastbourne use a 4G pitch and that reminded me of the T Shirts that were around circa 1986 or 87 around the time of PNE etc having plastic pitches

"Seasiders Play On Grass" featuring a large Cannabis Plant with the Tower Badge in the background. Didnt have one myself but I can remember a couple of lads selling them on the corner of Bloomfield Rd and Central Dr outside the paper shop. Anyone else remember them or have one ?

Yes, I remember them too. I think they were on sale on Central Drive near the joke shop, or even in that shop.

Ajax use the same 4G pitch and I believe it gets used for Champions League
Even bounce and so much better than the old plastic pitches

I had one. My mate (actually a Celtic fan down for the jolly) wore it to the Scunny play off and was offered £50 plus the lads shirt for it, quite a bit of dosh for back then.
I kept it for years until it was paper thin with age and fell apart in the washing machine.
