Scott Banks

Wideman from memory. I watched both of Bradford’s play off games against Carlisle and thought he flattered to deceive. Bit of a Bowler type, left footer on right wing I am I remembering correctly. But that’s just two games in a season.

Such video that there is on youtube shows that he is good on the ball, has a shot on him and can link play. My immediate thought was that he reminded me of Patino.

Doesn’t look like we’re gonna play with wingers so not overly convinced this is true. Very random he’s linked with a championship club, us, and Stockport

I think he's a player in a bit of a grey zone, he played last year in L2, so I can see why Stockport think he's in with a chance, but he "fits the model" for us and we're short of wide players as well, and one of the lower Championship clubs might be interested in him as cover.

Due to his age, I think Palace might want to cash-in on him, which would make us front-runners at this stage.

Getting another Bowler for 500kgbp would be good business

Think wingers would occasionally be used as Critch loves to tinker.
We do look solid at 3 5 2 though and I bet we would not concede that many, so would not be chasing the game

Why not bid 5ook for Bowler?
Wages could be a problem tho
We need to move away from Bowler Fiorini poveda keshi and so on , we need to stick to the game plan of purchasing up and coming younger players then moving them on for profit, Yates Bowler Lyons jordan Thompson a good example But sometimes it doesn't come off possibly Dom Thompson Nuttall But if you look at the outlay even on the losses it ain't that bad financially.

Lad I used to work with is a Palace fan, he said that they had high hopes for this lad when he first joined and they have offered him a new contract as he only has one year left, but he wants first team football and he isn't ready for them yet. Said he thinks Bank will comfortably be a Championship level player, maybe even prem if he can get some consistency into his game. Good touch, knows where the goal is, can run at players, pick a pass and is a set piece specialist. Sounds promising if we can get it over the line.

I agree, but Fiorini fits in exactly in the model you rightly want. Also,, these youngsters need older heads around them. Norburn will provide that and I'm hoping Pennington too.

Pffft I'll believe it when I read it as done on the BBC transfers page. There is a severe danger I'll yodel if we do get him.

Just spoken to my palace mate…

“Would be an outstanding signing for you. Not quite made it with us yet but very highly thought of and succeeded everywhere he’s been on loan.”

I asked about position and he said…

“Attacking Mid. Would probably play him as a 10 but also a good winger.”
