Schools "Reopening" - the real reason

So, the Prime Minister is sticking to the 1st June.

He is, of course, concerned about all of the disadvantaged children who haven't been able to receive proper schooling.

Most schools have continued to be open during the lockdown for disadvantaged children and those of key workers, so that's yet another lie from him and Cummings.

The real reason as we all know is so parents can get back to work, as the economy is being crippled.

It'll be interesting to see just how many parents let their kids go back. I'm glad to say that my year 6 grandson will not be going back- he has responsible parents who aren't convinced that it is safe yet.

All parents can make there own decisions, but with the risk being minimal, infection rates falling rapidly, the infamous R rate below where most countries started relaxing lockdown to a greater scale (without any sign of increased cases) then, for me the right thing to do is for all who can, go back to work.. Including teachers.

Allowing working mums the chance to work as well..

Unless everyone is enjoying the good weather and the 80% pay of course!!!
