I had no idea people invested in hedges, I guess it’s all about the environment.
Then you are equally as guilty of jumping to conclusions. We have NO idea of whether it's business as usual or not, so looking forward to decent recruitment and the summer activity is a bit premature.Maybe those people to whom you refer just don’t spend every hour of their whole lives on AVTT.
Or it might be that they don’t feel able to comment or come to a view about some court case in Hong Kong the facts of which we know very little about.
Either way there seems to be a lot of people jumping to conclusions on here on the basis of a couple of paragraphs in a few newspapers.
Unless im told any different by someone itk I’m expecting and looking forward to seeing some decent recruitment this summer with a view to promotion to the championship next season .
Given the financial constraints they've trimmed back a bit.I had no idea people invested in hedges, I guess it’s all about the environment.

If a pension fund invests in a hedge on behalf of its members then people can either flourish or financially diminish based on the hedge fund performance.I had no idea people invested in hedges, I guess it’s all about the environment.
Our club doesn't do normal.I was just getting used to being part of a relatively normal football club again.
Have you read the club statement issued 2 hours ago? Then you are equally as guilty of jumping to conclusions. We have NO idea of whether it's business as usual or not, so looking forward to decent recruitment and the summer activity is a bit premature.
Probably nothing in it. possibly is something. We simply don't know and we'll see how it unfolds in June.
Our town doesn’t do normal. More akin to carpetbagger’s anonymous. Our club doesn't do normal.
Yeah the club statement is nonsenseHave you read the club statement issued 2 hours ago?
Nowhere near the same at all. Go buy your onward card and jog onAnd to think people on here lambasted Pilley for getting his fingers burned.
You couldn’t make it up.
Too many revelling in it too. WeirdMaybe those people to whom you refer just don’t spend every hour of their whole lives on AVTT.

I must say, your 2 contributions to the 2 threads have been a sort of return fire at people and trying to make out what happened to Pilley was similar. A very odd approach IMO.And to think people on here lambasted Pilley for getting his fingers burned.
You couldn’t make it up.
I imagine director's duties apply though? I just hope the club doesn't drop into a holding pattern. The way I understand it is Sadler is guilty of not having robust processes in place to stop employees carrying out unscrupulous business practices. He's not being charged with being a crook like Pilley but with not being able to detect wrongdoing quickly enough.
All covered by the sale of Rob Apter to Real Madrid.I find the whole affair worrying. Hong Kong SFC are like a dog with a bone. If SS or Segantii is found guilty what the hell is going to happen to the new training ground, the new stand, Revoe Sports Village and basically the club?
If that’s your best point Simon needs a new briefHave you read the club statement issued 2 hours ago?
This stuff is way out of my league .If that’s your best point Simon needs a new brief
This stuff is way out of my league .
I’ve got about as much knowledge of hedge funds as you have of U.K. charging point locations
Does this mean we can get a decent No.2 in to sort out Critchleys inability to change the formation when we’re getting tubbed by the likes of Cheltenham away? No. Stop panicking. He knew full well what he was doing. Diversified his assets and ring fenced them. He’s not going to jail. At most a fine and some reorganization. Life goes on and a Sadler doesn’t change his spots. Management in place at the club and budget already set. Club can run smoothly without him.

Username doesn't check out.Yes I would imagine for starters that his is a business that relies on trust? At best that is on hold pending the outcome of this?
I have to think this is very bad for his business, his personal wealth and ultimately BFC, at least in the short term.
If he loses in court who knows where we go. I hope to be proved wrong!

I don't know the ins and outs of this particular case in HK but you have to wonder if there is a political motive to this given the way things are going over there. China is being more and more aggressive in exerting it's authoritarian influence on HK and this could be another step in that direction.I find the whole affair worrying. Great question. If the answer is yes which by the way it should be why wasn’t it done this year. I would fire one of his assistants and get an experienced hand in. I want them on their toes and focused and no repeat of this season.Does this mean we can get a decent No.2 in to sort out Critchleys inability to change the formation when we’re getting tubbed by the likes of Cheltenham away?
Keep calm and carry on.Yes I would imagine for starters that his is a business that relies on trust? At best that is on hold pending the outcome of this?

According to Bloomberg LaRocca is no longer joining JP Morgan for "personal reasons".Stand corrected.
If LaRocca had a hint of an investigation he would have been bound to reveal them as part of his recruitment process, or face immediate termination. It's generally 'okay' to have investigations ongoing, as long as you are fully transparent about this.
Your point about them coming as as a bolt from the blue could well be correct, but we will never know. Usually getting to court takes a year or more, so I'd assume this wasn't a big surprise.
I wonder what reasons they could be?!According to Bloomberg LaRocca is no longer joining JP Morgan for "personal reasons".
Ex-Segantii Trader La Rocca No Longer Joining JPMorgan
Daniel La Rocca, a former trader at Segantii Capital Management Ltd. accused of insider dealing in Hong Kong, won’t be joining JPMorgan Chase & Co. as planned, according to a person familiar with the matter.www.bloomberg.com
Think this actually strengthens his position. On the plus side Critchley might decide to do one.
No chance. Cant see it.On the plus side Critchley might decide to do one.
He’s unlucky….I thought it had been a mild winter, generally. It is concerning a mate of mine had his assets frozen last year. he’s never been the same since.
World Naked Gardening Day today .. look after your privets! You should give it a try.
It's shear profit
Why is it nonsense? Won't affect the club's day to day running, can't comment on the case but have given a statement which the press will have hounded them for. Didn't think it was nonsense in the slightest!Yeah the club statement is nonsense
A lot of fiddling going off all over the world, the key is don’t get caught,If you do take it on the chin.If he didn’t he would probably be the only Hedge Funder who hasn’t.
Plus the cruelty officers out inforce.World Naked Gardening Day today .. look after your privets!
Good question,I think they could be if he is found guilty, either way will the football league let sadler to still be owner,I think it will have an impact on the club.Suppose not
The hawthorn hedges have been quite a challenge this morningWorld Naked Gardening Day today .. look after your privets!
And training ground and player recruitment!I suppose this will delay progress on the East stand
Let’s hope that cash is ring fenced, the east stand has government money which has to be spent, so that might be protected. Nevertheless, it’s a worrying situation and one that I can’t see any positives in.And training ground and player recruitment!
Of course it could effect the clubWhy is it nonsense? Won't affect the club's day to day running, can't comment on the case but have given a statement which the press will have hounded them for. Didn't think it was nonsense in the slightest!
Unbelievable lumping Sadler in with that lot at this point.Oyston, Pilley, Sadler, Benson, Maynard, Menzies, not good.
