Robbie Gotts - Leeds midfielder

Another baby with next to no league experience. As it appears to be a loan, I just don't get this one. We have enough players of the same age who should be given a chance. Right now we need experience and whilst I'm delighted with our signings to date, we do need to address the centre of defence and midfield with a bit of experience in my opinion.

With how condensed the games will be this season, we're gonna need more central midfielders who are capable of starting than we currently have.
I have no issue with us bringing in extra bodies providing they're capable of contributing from the off.

With our new transfer policy I don't see us bringing in anyone over the age of 27 or so.

We ve got more older players than u think.....
Maxwell 30
Nottingham 31
Turton 28
Feeney 33
Madine 29

Aye, you'll never win anything with kids !😆
I don't think teams do, that is a misused quote from Hanson referring to United. That team had several key players who were very experienced. I note the list above but in all seriousness how many of them are likely starters? Maxwell and maybe Madine?

The club are looking to bring in younger players that can be coached and developed to increase value. The problem with the call for an experienced midfield head is that it just does not suit this policy. They generally command a higher wage, have no resale value and will leave if a long enough contract is not offered come renewal time, Spearing being the obvious example. I suppose it depends on whether this is worth the risk if the player nits together the team which is sometimes what it takes to move the younger lads onto the next level. This is where Charlie could come in, especially in a player/coaching role...

Doesn’t matter how many start....They can still impart their knowledge in training....

I don't doubt that but training and match days are completely different. Most young players need a calming influence who can help manage games, that needs to be on the pitch, not sat in the dugout.
