Sad news. Always seemed to be a really unlucky bowler at test level, constantly beating the bat, but not quite catching the edge often enough.

Great action.

That's really sad news, didn't get the wickets his skill and accuracy deserved. A hero of mine when I was a kid.

There was recently an article in the Times about the 1981 Ashes side and it said that Mike Hendrick was in very poor health.

A great bowler. In that Times article, he was quoted as saying that "I'm in the departure lounge, but the flight has not quite left yet".
So sad. Fly high Mike.
