Will put them below Cardiff on goal difference.
Next 4 set of fixtures for us, Cardiff, Reading and Huddersfield are interesting. On paper, we have an easier fortnight ahead of us. If we can pick up half a dozen points somehow, the last three weeks of the season will be very interesting.

Tractor, I was just beginning to feel slightly optimistic, then I read that Carroll's touch and go. Blast.

It's not good having to rely on other teams being docked points, but we'll deffo take it as a bonus in this shoite season.
The key word in your post is 'somehow'! Let's hope that having had a full week at SG will produce an epic turnaround in our form & results in our remaining games.
In the words of Rocky ..... WIN Pool WIN 🍊 🧡

Agree with a lot of your post, but isn't there an argument that Reading could have been more than 6 points worse off if they hadn't broken financial rules?

If we finish above Reading, I won't feel that we've relied on them being docked points. It's quite possible that they'd have been below us anyway, we'll never know.
But our season has been shite, no disagreement there.

Ince has been saying for weeks that a deduction is imminent. Hope he is right this time, but they have Hudds and Wigan in their last two games to fall back on

I thought the deadline for point deductions to count for this season has passed. Means any penalties given now will count for NEXT season, not this.

As a Preston fan i hope Reading do get deducted and you guys stay up!

If you wish to evaluate Saturday in fairness to your manager (difficult i know)

Our first goal was maybe a goal you score twice a season, in my opinion goalkeeper no chance

2nd goal your manager i think suggested it should have been headed away by the wall. no chance of that in my opinion and defendant on what angle you watch it from a goalkeeper of Maxwell size would struggle to get down so fast when obviously expecting a cross, also a goal we probably score no more than twice a season.

3rd goal your going for it and we break away and a young lad from a prem club that i believe will play one day in the prem slots a pee roller to perfection of the post...

Then you create plenty and could have scored a few....

Nice to see the young tangerine fans coming to Deepdale, apologies for the nasty chants regarding the lad that lost his life and good luck....

Its not over until its over!
