Quiet on here tonight?

Lots looking at the board but not many positing - maybe, like me, everyone a bit indifferent as it’s the sort of game we should have won but made hard work of it second half.

Will we soon see a clash between the manager and players because he’s saying they’re getting it wrong whilst they’re probably thinking he’s getting it wrong!

Good win tonight in what could have been a very tricky match but we're crying out for a decent and strong 90 minute’s that’s going to make a huge difference in whether we go up or not, IMO

The formation makes it hard to get any consistency. You have Dale and Hamilton who are good going forward and crap at defending and then you have Lyons and Thompson who are more natural defenders. It must be hard to adapt to certain game situations. I know I've said it a 1000 times but I really do think we are complicating things and making it harder than it needs to be.

You have a point there I think. Dale was impressive going forward but late on was found wanting when needed to defend. Critchley needs to be more flexible with his formations. Lyons and Thompson fit well I think with a 3-5-2 but Dale and Hamilton would be more suited to 4-4-2 or similar. Critchley seems unable though to cope with flexible formations either for a whole match to fit with the opposition or within a match if change is needed for whatever reason.
