A really good point dp, that why when all our liverpool/Blackpool fans were in heaven about this game I would much have preferred to play PNE.Giro, I've tolerated you for a long time, but this is petty.
How would PNE do against the same Liverpool team?
Not very well I think.
Would have have only been a friendly but one that mattered more and given a benchmark where we are in comparison.

We batted first. The first 11 had a nice lead going into lunch.
After lunch the ladies team took over and a right battering ensued from Liverpool’s big hitters, including several which cleared the boundary.

Giro's only coming on AVFTT for a bit of light relief as it's all doom and gloom on PNEISOnline again...and again and again
Seems the only good signing PNE have made this season has been Wigans training ground....
Hey Giro.....So how many season tickets do you think you Knobbers will buy at £500 a go when you cant even pick your own seat.....?
Seems your....."ambassadors" have given it a really big miss this year.....looks like it's another empty ground again...
But we forget that PNE fans have been practising social distancing at Deepdale for the last 15 season...so no one will really notice.....

It was when Owen hand-stitched the football from his cell, the players wore top hats and there were no crossbars. Players also had other ‘main’ jobs, such as plumbing.

For the record. I’ve been a season ticket holder, Sir Tom Finney Stand, for the past 22 years.
As for PNE Online. We8PNE has been on there for as many years as I’ve posted on here. He might have had a couple of yellow cards,
but he’s still on there. Great sense of humour, and a decent bloke, as well.

Not once was any mention made of Pool’s substitutions. I realised, eventually, that NC had more or less, changed the entire starting XI. The first clue was that Pool keeper in the 2nd half had a different kit on. As each Pool player touched the ball, a different name from the starting line up was mentioned. It took me about 20 mins ( as the goals started going in) to realise it. I thought later, that he probably needed to know how his replacements would fare. It wasn’t really fair on them, so let’s just say that they didn’t do too well, but I don’t think anybody would have .

Mine's the same as last year. £300.
However, the bigger issue for some is the no refund if COVID hits, again.
If you’ve got a family to take on it’s obviously going to be an issue.
I’m fortunate enough to be able to take the gamble.
