Thought we were pretty good first half. Second half was usual dross after the subs but I never saw them getting back into the game if I’m being honest.

Starting line up and formation was spot on from Critchley and the game was won in the first half hour.

Great finishes from Dembele and Lavery. Both must start at Bolton. That performance from Ekpiteta will do his confidence the power of good too.

Credit to the Blackpool fans who travelled with the game being on tv and not getting back home until the wee hours

Bob on Athers. However the chances of that team starting against Bolton are minimal.

Dembele, Lavery and Lyons will be on the bench and Carey has to start according to Critch.

Banana skin avoided…..
Exactly. I think a lot of people don’t realise they’ve won 8 in a row at home, sit 3rd in the national league, have a plastic pitch - yesterday was never going to be a turn up and win 5-0 kinda day.

We won the game within 30 minutes, could’ve easily been 5 up at the break. Yes, the usual bollocks subs and sitting back happened, but like you said, tough potentially embarrassing exit avoided. Well done to the players and manager for approaching the game with the right attitude and mindset

Now I'm not overreacting during the game I think that sums it up well plus we had the game Wednesday and had to travel down on the Friday.

The strength of the side he put out last night told its own story. We’ve obviously watched them and decided not to mess around.

The Manager wasn’t happy with the second half performance and he’s clearly very aware of the problem . I like the fact that he’s acknowledged that something isn’t quite right and I’m sure we’ll see a concerted effort to work on that this week.

Unfortunately the recent schedule of games doesn’t really leave enough time in between games to really get many hard miles in on the training ground. So the fact we have a week until our next fixture is good news.

We have a Bristol St Motors game on Tuesday at home to Morecambe.

Potential 4 Wembley trips still on.

We missed Kouassi in the second half. There was absolutely no hold up play, hence them getting back into it, and remind me who played two great balls through for the two goals?
