Popped window on the Stevenage fans coach. What happened?

Nothing amusing about this, I can imagine the outrage if it was one our coaches at an away game.

Sadly there are many knobheads in Blackpool and it might not have been a Pool fan. My lad’s car had £400 of damage caused to the bodywork by some local clown, throwing stuff into the car park as we drove in earlier this season.

We do though have knobhead fans, as evidenced again in the North yesterday.

There was 20-25 of their fans walking past the South as we were queuing to get in singing about dirty northern bastards and Blackpool’s a sh1t hole and no police to be seen. After the game there was a few of them with Burberry scarves making phone calls to meet for trouble and walked off down Central Drive towards where their coach was parked…… maybe they found the trouble that they were looking for 🤔

Was there a brother and three sisters amongst the group?

I actually saw a mob, probably them, outside the Manchester at 2ish singing same songs about northerners and the old shit hole songs all burburied up. Probably answers the motive, but still not good for our clubs rep.

I find it hard to believe Stevenage have a mob.

I had just walked past the coach and got to the corner to walk up by the school and heard a bang. Several young males dressed in dark clothing shot passed us and down the alleyway.

I had thought that a smoke bomb had been thrown

I was surprised there was such a gobby lot with them … as you suggest it could have been a response to something their own fans started.

Could have been a seagull dropping a muscle what it had picked up central pier.
TBH that was my first thought then I read the rest of the thread

You really cannot ignore the fact that some people are simply thick as fk .It's not particular to Blackpool but they are everywhere amongst us and they reproduce so likely to be with us forever.

Not hard to spot .

As my husband was queuing at 3&4 a group of their fans were chanting songs about the pool and he said they were looking for trouble and the police officers marched them away to their end. So there was Stevenage fans out looking for bother

Sums up the trash Football unfortunately attracts and there’s plenty of it in the UK

If away fans can’t behave properly don’t serve them, give them all the hospitality their offence deserves

If some Blackpool fans can’t stop throwing fares, smashing up coaches, vehicles tell the stewards who they were give em a criminal record and see how the vast majority of us live and go about our supporting - we don’t need idiots giving outr fan base and Club a bad name

The vast majority of our fans are law abiding, fun and good to be with people - compare and contrast Ashley’s boat trip last week with this report of criminal damage and trying to hurt others

I hope our thugs get caught
I hope their disrespectful visitors never come back

As I was turning to walk down the west behind Jimmy's statue a group of about 25 of them were being marched round by a couple of coppers, a few of them at the back were chanting "Oyston In". The look of confusion when I shouted "we got rid of them 4 years ago you bellends" was quite amusing.

Knob Headery, we will end up getting points deducted if they carry on.
Points deducted for a smashed window in a car park.........we absolutely won't

There is no condoning the behaviour, but it won't lead to a points deduction, it absolutely won't

Does he mean all 10,000 of us, or the 1 that threw the stone?
As far as someone like him is concerned the perpetrator is typical of the whole group. It may not be realistic but we all do it. That's why shits who do this sort of thing need weeding out of the club as far as is reasonably possible.

I hope I never ever see you at a match as you are a complete bellend who's unbelievably anti Blackpool as a town and as a fanbase

As we are talking about mobs just been to the Wales match as my middle lad supports Wales

And I dont think I've ever seen a higher ratio of lads to fans in an away crowd of about 2,000

Loads of them in the city centre all dressed in Black, buz cuts, over 40 and all looked like forces or ex armed forces

Saw a little mob of Cardiff walk past them quickly didn't say a word to them

And all the Croats shouted through the minutes silence when they mentioned Palestine

Respect ....

That sounds like a paragraph straight from some murder mystery book.

Nice comparison. Maybe a different demographic, but I'm pretty sure capable of looking after themselves if things ever turned nasty..

I was talking about the behaviour in general including pyrotechnics and throwing objects onto the pitch combined with putting the window in, we are on a warning from the former.

Phil — I don’t condone disrespect by visitors to Blackpool as I do smashing up their means of transport home

The problem is one idiot can wreck everyone‘s day. Going to football is a Privilege and that right shouldn’t be put in any risk by idiots whoever they are from

It doesn't matter, there has NEVER in the history of the game been a points deduction for anything of that nature.

Fines yes, potential partial stand closures in extreme circumstances but points deductions will not hapoen

That’s alright then, I’ll bring my flares and bricks to the next game so I can act like a prick too

Easy to say when it isn't your business and investment that is at risk. The club are taking a safety first attitude towards managing the issue and clearly need to, if recent behaviour is anything to go by.
Surprised you can see what approach they're taking you're buried that far up their hoop

But feel free to provide evidence of the points deductions for others which necessitate a 'safety first attitude'

Points deductions are being discussed but not football law yet, likely to be trialled in the non league first.

The game will also continue its efforts to combat dangerous, illegal and unwelcome behaviour off the pitch, be it in the stands or online. Last season a host of new measures were introduced by authorities which saw enhanced sanctions applied for people identified entering the pitch, using pyros, taking drugs to games, throwing objects or for discriminatory abuse.

Speaking ahead of the new season’s kick off, leaders from across English football offered insight into the game’s renewed efforts to improve participant and fan behaviour

I saw it happen, couldnt tell if they were supporters or just locals looking for trouble. Adults but ran away like kids over Revoe Park from the bemused little old man coach driver

Good luck to them with that, not a hope in hell
