Okay, for a bit of fun. We have had the Evo vs Jones Poll. Let's extend it a bit now we know a bit more. Let's get as many of you voting as possible and see what sort of stats we get.

If Heckingbottom gets any votes I'll be amazed.
Cue some smart arse to vote for him just to wind me up 😜

Hi, first time posting.

I’m not really sure why we are being linked with Lobera, or why we’d want him? He doesn’t appear to have managed at a decent level, and in a 13 year managerial career has achieved nothing. Surely we want a better appointment than that? I read someone say he might play a Spanish style, but the guy that owns my local takeaway is Italian, but I doubt he could get us playing like Juve. 😂

I think we need “tried and tested” to get us out the division so we can start to attract better players. I also think that the board needs to decide on a style of play and choose the manager that best suits. The style should be coached throughout the club, down to youth level to allow for the young players to progress.

I'm not saying we should appoint him but in 2014 he got Las Palmas to the Spanish Division 2 play offs before being sacked.

Grayson was tried and tested and failed terribly.

Why are people still going on about Evo when he’s been officially ruled out ? Give it up will ya ffs.

that all sounds a bit Riga Revolution! Maybe Sadler can bring him back and back his plans properly !

Karl Robinson anyone ? ... from the North West ... would show show some intent to poach him from Oxford 👍 ... He probably wouldn't want it though 😟

Ian Evatt can be ruled back in. Ruling him out was a mistake. He's a better candidate than Heckingbottom, at the very least.

I’ll be honest, with Evatt apparently ruled out, Jones distancing himself I really have no idea. The club have to make this appointment the right appointment so they certainly need to take their time over it. If a suitable candidate is not available then they may as well stick with Dunn until the end of the season. We could all be well off the mark though and a name comes from nowhere. Fully trust the board to get this one right.
