To the ticket office so they can give tickets to people

Seem very desperate to make this game a sell out when most will have been FREE or thru Luton REFUNDS haha
It's 8 years since Preston lost its greatest ever son Sir Tom Finney. To commemorate the year which would have marked his 100th birthday we are raising funds to buy @pnefc match tickets for the @pnecommunity programme users. #pnefc Donate if you can. https://collectionpot.com/pot/1210009/

I think it is unseemly to mock the afflicted, we should have compassion for those less fortunate, who cannot afford a colour on their team sheets. Catching up with the twentieth century was hard with all those rule changes like crossbars and nets, we should give them a little more time before we expect them to reach the late twentieth century, never mind twenty-first..

You lot are unbelievable. The fans are raising money to buy people tickets who couldn’t otherwise afford one to go to Tom Finney’s centenary event, it’s got fuck all to do with you.

If you have a problem with that then shame on you.

Dress it up as much as you like. 4 months of selling tickets for this game and you're nowhere near. That's why you are looking for any old homeless street resident and forcing tickets on them to make it look like you can get a crowd.

What would the excuse have been if the game had been on the original date? Who's birthday would you have been making an event?

No point arguing with thickos.

Does Tom Finney have an official birthday like the Queen? 19th March, original date. Were you looking to give any old passerby tickets then?

If people are that bothered about Tom they'd make the effort. Looks like they are not unless it's free.
You don’t know what you’re talking about. This is a pne-online forum initiative and has nothing to do with the club. We asked the Community Trust if they’d help by nominating people in need who’d want tickets but couldn’t afford them.
The ticket office are simply taking donations on our behalf.
This is nothing new, we’ve done something similar a few times before.
We regularly organise charitable events and this has nothing to do with you Lashers as much as you’d like to think so.
As I’ve said already, if you have a problem with this then shame on you.

FFS they are struggling to make ends meet and and have no money - and then their day gets worse as you give them tickets to Sleep Dale. I think that's just cruel - talk about kicking somebody when they are down

So you've not sold out then?

Yep and put another way you are begging for money to boost the gate because you cant sell enough for what is your cup final.....

Wizaard of all the Blackpool fans you must be the thickest of all Seasiders fans .
Having set up a collection for less fortunate people who can't or not able to go to matches anymore is something pne online should be very proud off.
I believe your club have done something similar recently in the community.
It’s also come to my notice Blackpool fc are going to get gov handouts to replace that shed you call an away stand.
Giving us stick about having 2,500 tickets left for our meeting on sky is also very embarrassing .
When you only sold 9,000 + home supporters for the sheff u match where your fans are still talking playoffs is a bloody embarrassment.
We all know your fans have sold 10,000 tickets in the home ends 😂😂. For the Derby match .
Stop embarrassing yourselfs.
Come back and criticise north end when you can sell 18 to 20 thousand home tickets for a sky live match at Bloomfield Rd because that’s what we are going to do.
Also Tom Finney was a remarkable player & ambassador to PNE fans and will never forgotten as a one club man .

I can’t actually bring myself to pick through the pure idiocy of this post. I do like debating with Nobbers, but when the illiterate post on here I just find it too draining…..

Its clear they are doing everything they can and they obviously feel they have to.

They do have 2200 strong tangerine army to deal with.

Its been desperate tbh. On sale for months, rearranged for special day etc. All the shit and crying from the forced police decision at our place and the pettiness from them. Let them have their moment.

Who cares if a lot of them bring along 1 randomer each for the day.

Let them enjoy it.

They don't give free tickets though remember.

Just they get the manager to pay them back for them once they lose....

Tbh don't see anything much wrong with a fund from the better off to help those who can't afford it.

We should do that.

But having the tickets on sale for so long and with so many ways to encourage people to go.

Going to be a lot of random casuals.

But thats what you can do if you have the space.

Hasn't half been petty though and they will pay at our place for that.

why dont they make the spare seats available to pool fans and stick an extra quid on the cost of the ticket which can be given to families in need. rather than 400 quid youve probably got another 4 thousand pounds or so

I have to say that this is a very novel way of trying to help people and raise their spirits - it is a great initiative and well done to the organisers.
It is clearly designed to give the recipients a sense of perspective - however bad things in their own life might seem, at least they don't have to watch PNE regularly. There is always someone worse off than yourself.

You haven't sold 18-20,000 though you have given more away than sold, and you will still have empty seats. more blackpool fans in the home end and all pne s fault ahahahahaha

After a week of them having a "free tickets" running joke on twitter because a Blackpool fan said they're giving away tickets, they've refunded fans who went to Luton and are raising funds in order to give away free tickets..

Couldn't write it
It’s called charity, to help unfortunate people go to a football match.

🤣🤣🤣🧡luv to come back to you on your site but you soft lard arses can’t take it and ban us... JK and lilyshits 😳🖕

Charity is charity, just like the charity given to one of your lot who blew his fingers off.
What a poor analysis. You should acquaint yourself with the facts first.
Decent, well-balanced nobbers (eg Giro and Norfolk White) are welcome on here but you’re digging yourself a pit.
Don’t bother twisting history either. We revere Sir Tom as much as Sir Stan. They were great friends, not rivals.
And as for your analysis of Wizzard, it proves you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Sorry you look at it that way Stony, all I’m saying is charity is a wonderful thing. I can assure you that no I’ll feeling was meant. Myself and a few other nobbers gave donations to the poor unfortunate. My point is don’t ridicule people who try to help other unfortunate people.
