Why I never go to pre-season games .. effectively training sessions … and in an empty stadium even more so …
You may be right, but we're 30 minutes into a preseason friendly with a pretty experimental line up and you're predicting a defeat in our first league game. It’s just obvious. Why the fuck do people want 5 defenders on the pitch getting in each others way.
Laughable comment.Shocking. The Judas manager should have never came back.
Jet lag innit?Shocking. The Judas manager should have never came back.
Totally agree seems pointless,I prefer to pick a side who are likely to start season in one half and make adjustments as and when needed, these two line ups make little sense to me even if it is only a getting fit exerciseHate these friendlies with depressing line ups, one striker , who isnt our best. Several full backs. Loads of midfield missing. I suppose most of the others will be on second half
Why on earth would he sack off a system, based on Pre-Season Friendly?Callum Wright just hit the post. The one blessing is hopefully Critchley will now sack off this 5 at the back rubbish.
No doubt you'll then be posting bloody 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 just doesn't work.Callum Wright just hit the post. The one blessing is hopefully Critchley will now sack off this 5 at the back rubbish.
Yes Id like to see the same. Second half lineup seems more positive though not convinced by formation and I assume CJ as wing back.Totally agree seems pointless,I prefer to pick a side who are likely to start season in one half and make adjustments as and when needed, these two line ups make little sense to me even if it is only a getting fit exercise

This is about practice and preparation…The result at this stage is largely immaterial…
4-3-3 always works with the right players. Play wingers and get them defending deep.No doubt you'll then be posting bloody 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 just doesn't work.
Patience, pre season friendlies are all about experimenting & assessing how players adapt.

Just like the formation. Let’s stick to the basics. Why are we trying to re-invent the wheel. Some of the comments on here are laughable
It's coming.@BlackpoolFC
86' - Sonny Carey drives it at goal, stinging the palms of the goalkeeper who beats it away.
Just like previous seasons where we have tried it and it’s been shit. We are only playing it to accommodate players and their fitness or at least I hope so.There is absolutely nothing wrong with a 532 or 352 formation. We are playing half strength teams in both halves and it's a glorified training match where the result doesn't matter and it's about the practicing of a process. There ain't half some bedwetters on here.
If we play a decent formation and not 6 defenders including the keeper.Just reading the tweets, sounded like we had way more chances than them and just had an unlucky 2 mins. Still need another striker for me - we’ll not know how individuals played but there is no doubt looking at those two teams that merged we have a decent L1 team.
Where do you suggest we play the goalkeeper if not in the defence? If we play a decent formation and not 6 defenders including the keeper.
Will you post the same thing a few more times -- I'm still not getting your point! If we play a decent formation and not 6 defenders including the keeper.

We didn't exactly start with anywhere near our best attacking line up tbf. Infact Joseph didn't seem to get on at all?Just reading the tweets, sounded like we had way more chances than them and just had an unlucky 2 mins. For me sounded pretty positive. We didn't exactly start with anywhere near our best attacking line up tbf. Infact Joseph didn't seem to get on at all?
Plymouth have been together a while under their manager, won the league and are now in the championship.
We've just got Critchley back after a period of chaos.
Hard to tell from updates alone, but sounded competitive and we could have scored more.
I’m very passionate about it.Will you post the same thing a few more times -- I'm still not getting your point!
A knob who was right last season and will be this season. We have a good team but that formation will ruin any chance we have. The guy's a knob don't even bother responding
