My daughter is currently trying to find a placement in a veterinary practice around the Blackpool area for her college course, she is in her second year and hoping to go on to study veterinary nursing next year. Unfortunately, she cannot pass her current course or get on to her degree without this placement. The problem is due to corona virus and social distancing but if anyone can help or knows someone that could please could you message me thanks.

Would it not be better for her to contact vets in the area and ask personally.
I'm sure there will be someone to give her a chance as they will have had to do it themselves when they were at uni.
Hope's she gets the placement 👍

Good luck to your daughter 👍

she has emailed them all but no luck
I understand the covid safety guidelines but most of these vets probably went through the same placement your daughters after at the moment. If these vets are being unhelpful then I would suggest casting the net further afield ie Preston, Kirkham, Lytham?
I wish her all the best.

Why not contact the British Veterinary Associaion or the University Depatment she is thinking of applying to. They may have the contact of a local veterinary practice who may be used to doing this and may be willing to persaude them to help?

Because of the Covid restrictions you can’t just walk in now that is the reason it was done by email and if you ring they tell you to email.

try Rowan vets at kirkham. They have a small surgery at Oxford square but the main one is at kirkham. They take on a lot of trainees. Drew my vet there has been treating my dachshunds for 15 years and he was a trainee 15 years ago and now he's a partner
