I’m told 1k extra tickets have been released this morning so things are starting to move
 
Signed it but by the time it triggers the numbers for civil servants to look at it and for Parliament to consider it, the final will have already happened. Direct approach via MPs is the only option within the timescales

Signed. Sadly from what I've read about it, I think it's hugely unlikely to be successful, but lets hope for the best.

Unfortunately that only happens for petitions on the government website.

Petitions on sites such as this one have no such triggers and are for the most part simply disregarded by the government. Not a political statement btw, it would be the same no matter which party was in power. Perhaps if the Official Monster Raving Loony Party were in power, they might allow 500,000 to attend.

It has only just reached 3,000 signatures, and I have signed. And absolutely, now is the time to contact politicians directly, wherever anyone lives.
