Peterborough v Blackpool Official Matchday Thread 17.02.24

Rubbish up front and rubbish at the back. It's as simple as that. These players are nowhere close to top of the league players. Nout to do with formations that.

The passage of play with Morgan looking to pass forward but instead goes back to Ekpiteta who panics and passes to Grimshaw who wasn’t expecting it and wellies it out for a throw. That sums us up.

Not one aspect of our game shows any hope,5 changes same system same outcome this pig headed manager has to go before our fan base is halved

I think we could play every defender we had and we would still concede and look crap at the back. Same with our strikers Rhodes apart, they still wouldn't score.

The back 3 doesn’t suit at all. We are exposed down the flanks.

I wanted to believe that in time the back 3 gave us an extra player in midfield but that’s pointless if we cannot defend goals because of it

Shift Hubby to LB, Coulson off.
Dembele in the hole

4-3-1-2.

Way better than Tuesday but that wasn’t difficult, they just look more likely the whole half.

He’s gotta roll the dice NOW not on 70, for me Beez for Lavs and Dembele for Morgan

We've got 5 defenders on and a load of defensive midfielders. We can't string 3 passes together and dont even look getting anywhere near scoring.
Keep it up Critch , your coaching skills will see us through this.

They have a mantra through the club that they will have enterprising attacking play. They take risks, but to break out fast and spring counterattacks. So much better to watch than our dull methodical approach based on defensive possession.
They played that way at Bloomfield road, still the best team I've seen this season
