Oxford v Posh Thread

The Championship will be very interesting right now.

Will t’Rovers get dragged into a Rovers Return to Lg1? I doubt Birmingham and Plymouth can get the necessary wins against Norwich and Hull who want to stay in / reach the top 6.

If there is any justice Peterborough should win. They are much the better footballing side. Then again what has justice to do with it?

Why the fcuk did Jorden Thorniley go to Oxford?
Has he ever played a match for them?
Nearly always on the bench and not even picked tonight!!

Because he was great on loan and probably expected a similar experience. Turns out our squad is just plain better since then and he’s well down the pecking order.

After we ripped them apart the other week it’s pretty evident their being far more risk averse tonight…
That was then, terrible game nevertheless and awful atmosphere.

However I hope you beat them because Brannigan must be due another wage increase to buy another carp.

And some thought last nights game was bad!!!
The angry crabs and posh have served a real treat up tonight 🙄

Good job we didn’t push the boat out for him. 🫣
Dale having a decent game as well. 🙄
Tbf to the club Oxford made him their highest ever paid player. We did everything to land him.

Be annoyed at not landing Colby Bishop, by all means. That was amateurish. Brannigan didn’t wanna move and Oxford offered him silly money

Silly money that many on here said Oxford couldn’t afford and would end up in the 💩

He’ll be getting another pay rise if they manage to get in the championship same for Dale and Bishop is already there having made the right move.

The atmosphere tonight and last night seems poor for the playoffs. Maybe it's just watching it on TV, but they've both seemed crap.

Indeed. Also finished the season with the highest average rating of just under 8. To maintain 8/10 every week… 😍

Hate Bolton, Fergie Jr is a prick. Wouldn’t mind Oxford going up.

No disrespect to neyo, not a stadium I’m in a hurry to visit again
Lol same. Couple more years and we’d be done with it too mate. 25yrs of pain…

Will take that! Would expect Peterborough to be more at they’re usual patterns of play back at home. Should be a bit more exciting?

Don’t know why people drool over Posh. Yes they were impressive at Bloomers. A Critchley set up Pool team would make even the Nobbers look like Barcelona. We beat them on theirs, so there not invincible.

  • Haha
Reactions: no9
And many on here thought Jordan Thorniley was a superstar..just bang average , way too slow and made a series of errors that cost us key goals.

So who do we reckon will progress tonight? Tough call. I think I have a sneaky feeling for Oxon. Posh blow hot and cold. Depends which.

Same for me, Oxford. Maybe 2-2 on the night. Too much time locked in the play off places waiting for the season to finish can cause lost momentum and I think that's where Peterborough could be at right now. They can score goals very quickly and change a game, and they have home advantage, but could be a sting in the tail in this for them whilst they're trying to do that.

C’mon Posh tonight - losing either them or Bolton from the league wouldn’t be a bad thing!

Quite fancy a Posh win tonight and an all German CL final but not enough to put any money on it.
