Touting for business is what I would call itHes looking after his business, club and no. 1 I guess. Can you blame him? Probably not. Doesn't mean I agree with him mind.
The problem is a small percentage of the population (but still an awful lot of people) don't have credit cards etc. I think there is still a place for cash, as there is still for cheques. To be fair I've got a couple of hundred quid in cash that I haven't used during this virus. I think cashless is the way the world is going.
I've still got £300 in 20s from Cheltenham. Haven't been out since. To be fair I've got a couple of hundred quid in cash that I haven't used during this virus. I think cashless is the way the world is going.
Fleetwood Town have to to employ securicor to take all the cash takings to the bank.
Why cant a girl in the office just pop it in her handbag & take it at lunchtime like they do at most small businesses?
Tell him to email Pilley, bet he charges plenty for set up and fees.I use very little cash these days. Can go weeks working away from home and not use cash.. I dont even carry any these days unless I know im going somewhere that is cash only..
The window cleaner is going to have to get a card reader as i never have any cash when he calls for his fiver!!
Ha ha ha!! Part time mafioso jack! What are you ? A drug dealer
No, CardSaver (used at Bloomfield Rd) provide the card reader but charge for the ink and receipt paper - it allows small businesses who don’t have a dedicated link to their bank (as it costs a fair bit) to offer customers the chance to pay using their card. At the end of the day the business connects to card reader and all the transactions are transferred to their bank in one go - CardSaver then take a percentage of the value. So next time you are in some remote country pub and you have spent all your cash, the facility to put it on your card exists.Tell him to email Pilley, bet he charges plenty for set up and fees.
I'm a cabbie, mate, and it's very rare for someone to tip when paying by card. Most people don't realise that you can separate the tip and the bill on the same card payment. Unfortunately.Nothing like cash for a small business.
I still use cash for small transactions ( under£15) as I know how much it costs to go by card process.
Do folk who pay card at the bar tip!
