Outclassed

They just looked in a different league. They had some good players and very well organised. Our players must have thought how the hell are we are on the same pitch as these players

They were a very good side and they have some of their best players out injured aswell.Be a team to keep an eye on going into the playoff run as they have momentum.

Thought they were decent. Passed it very well from the back through midfield.

That double substitution on 58 mins made us considerably weaker, poor.

Dougall was horrific today. One of the worst midfield performances going.

In the end we were but we gifted them the game.

2nd goal was very costly, we were right back in it and right before half time that was awful to concede such a weak goal. Deflated everyone.

OK 2nd half we can still do something but up against it, there we appeared to set up their 3rd goal and after that we went to pieces.

Would have been tough but we were pathetic in some key moments.

As usual, Dougall gets all the blame from his haters on here today, but none of their goals was he at fault. The first was Patino

stood rooted to the spot not picking up the spare man and closing him down, the second Maxwell flapping and missing the ball, the third

Rogers flicked the ball away instead of using his left foot and putting his laces through it, and the final goal playing a pass to Connolly who

allowed the ball to run across him and him to get caught in possession. The problem is plain to see when a team gets physical today,

Patino and Fiorini are just to weak. This has been the problem since the first match of the season.

Now factor in a referee that should have sent a player off for violent conduct when he punched Connolly straight in front of him,

and not giving a blatant second penalty.

But the real reason was that club has put short-term financial gains over staying in the championship. Hiring the hopeless Appleton,

signing three lightweights in Patino, Poveda and Fiorini that are not physically strong enough for this league, giving the away fans

a whole stand that gives away our home advantage, especially with decisions. For me, all these decisions come from one person

and that is Ben Mansford, and if I was Sadler I would be replacing him this weekend, and hire someone fresh to start planning

for next season.

Yes Thorniley injury was a turning point
But first half denied a second pen and they should have been down to 10 men.
Will be glad when the season is over
Totally agree with your last sentence - this season has been painful and I can't wait till it's finished. Dozens of injuries, by miles the worst disciplinary record in the league, many embarrassingly bad performances and two of the most negative, uninspiring managers any club could appoint in succession.
It's a miracle that 10k blackpool fans are still turning up tbh.

they were much the better team after the usual first ten minutes. But decisions can change matches and the refs failure to award us that second penalty was crucial just before half time. What was going thru his mind? For me, it was that he'd just given us one penalty a couple of minutes earlier so it wasn't right to give us a second one so soon after. He'll be embarrassed watching that fuck up. Our second half performance was truly awful but his performance was even worse. All that said, we deserved nowt.

I can’t disagree with any of that really.

I feel sorry for one or two players who seem to be consistently ‘honest’ with their performances.

Players like Yates, Nelson, Husband.

Three keys moments . . . losing Thorniley, their player not getting the red card and the second pen.

Getting even one of those decisions would certainly have changed things but as these things happen in football we have to accept them and our second half performance was awful.

To be fair they were a very good side.

For me the biggest disappointment of the day came with 20 minutes to go watching a mass exodus of so called supporters - total embarrassment.

Yeah the biggest disappointment in all this is the fans 🙄

I'd love to see us play football like Coventry. Great passing and movement and nice balls slicing open our back line. They were good to watch, reminiscent of us in our playoff season.
