Anyone watched it or watching it ?

Finished in on iplayer last night.

Decent cast and good all round quality acting, interesting quirky plot line.

Not sure what to make of the ending though šŸ§

Yep, also a bit disappointed with the ending, it all seemed to happen in the last 15 minutes or so.
Personally i preferred the parts of the series with Stanley Tucci in it, I felt the David Tennant parts were a bit far fetched. Because it seemed to finish so abruptly, I thought the series could have gone on a couple of episodes more, especially with the Stanley Tucci character's story.

Agreed Dave.

It was a very strange mix and I was far more intrigued with the Stanley Tucci side .

Didnt know his name until you mentioned it. Know his face though.

Loved it.
It was great how it switched from the USA to the UK and how the two storylines intertwined.

I didnā€™t think the ending was bad. It worked for me.

The chemistry and humour between the two USA death row inmates was excellent.

The bald guy was in It Could Happen to You. He played the rat ex boyfriend who was after his exā€™s lottery winnings.

David Tennant was on top form too. I had serious anxiety at the end of the episode when he started taping up the cellar door. It was very tense stuff.

Overall it was 9/10
And another reason to keep paying the tv license.

It was quality, I agree , it was just the ending that put me off.
David Tennant was superb and Stanley Tucci I now realise after googling, I recognised from Murder One, a 90ā€™s crime drama that got me hooked back in the day šŸ‘

Oh please guys, I donā€™t know whether Iā€™m coming or going here. Iā€™ve just had to undelete it now after reading these last posts! šŸ˜‚
I always thought the acting was good and the plotline is šŸ§

It was seriously just the ending for me, but that may not be a problem for you.
Donā€˜t delete šŸ„¹

Watched the first two last night, really good and Tennant and Tucci are knocking it out of the park as usual, Dolly Wells is the star of the show though as Janice.

My one concern is the Moffatt doesn't always tie things up satisfactorily, Sherlock disappeared up it's own behind and some Dr Who episodes tied themselves in knots.

Finished it, really enjoyed it.

Spoilers below!

The ending was fine, all tied up with an explanation of how he knew where Janice was, the only mystery is what happened to his wife, my guess is he didn't do it, which is why he's not told them where the head is and why he wanted to speak to the vicar at the end.

Bigger spoiler alert!

Did you see the bit after the credits where Janice turns up and asks Tucci how to kill her husbandā€¦ā€¦more or less ? Thats the bit that threw me off the most šŸ„¹

Just a set up for any Season 2, wouldn't take it too seriously.

Good entertainment and acting. More holes in the plot than swiss cheese. Ending a bit unsatisfactory but that is often the case if they want to leave it all set up for series two if they want it.
