OT Technical help Sky/Openreach

Wonder if someone could kindly help me out here.
Just moved house and taken a Sky package, TV, broadband, Skyfall etc.
Installed the broadband router got to wait 2 weeks for a Sky Q box.
The previous owners landline box was deactivated by Openreach because they never used it. Sky have told me I'll need to contact Openreach to reactivate the box but their customer service is invisible.
I thought probably naively that if the telephone line contract is with Sky they should liaise with Openreach to get the line activated.
Bloody frustrating dealing with companies that have such crap customer service.
 
I had a similar issue, and went through Sky and due to them owning the line, they engaged Openreach,
Sounds like Sky may be getting confused
 
Bloody useless are Sky,reported something to them regarding my master socket,they said they would send someone round. To be fair he showed up on time but was not allowed in the house due to open reach policies. Told me what to do as a quick fix but will have to wait till they are allowed in to sort new master socket.
