Oi Doom Brigade

Sorry but we aren’t any closer to getting rid, I doubt very much SS will be anywhere near considering it.

Sadler would be mad to sack NC.

Yes, things could be better but Jesus, the boys have shown what they can do this year (other than today) and that’s not gonna slow down. We’re only gonna improve and be more ruthless and efficient under the gaffer.

He’s a perfect fit for Blackpool and vice versa. He’s learned some lessons about hindsight and the value of a club that’s aligned and supportive. This season or next, good times are ahead for our club! 🍊🍊

He’s going nowhere. Every loss just prolongs the wait for the arrival of the experienced assistant…which won’t be for ages since Sadler won’t want to do anything that makes it look like there is anything wrong. It was a mistake to hire him and that mistake is now set in stone. Perpetual building for the future on soggy foundations.

Sadler had the look of a child at Christmas sat next to Critchley. He’s under the spell of the chipper coach from Crewe who wears gillets from The Emporers New Clothes range at ASDA

It’ll be very quiet if we get to Wembley. Apart from the under 40s who don’t go on Avftt who is going to go and cheer on the Pool?

You couldn’t hand on heart, head to Bloomfield south to watch a team with a shit manager and terrible formation (never mind him playing his love children) after all you’ve posted and said about it.

It’ll be basically a load of ‘youngsters’ singing ABBA songs and Neil Critchleys tangerine army.

He did last time he was manager, buggered off.Should never have got an interview second time round, let alone the job.Only my opinion.
Disagree, but i respect your views and opinion, i would assume he wasn't interviewed i think he was Sadlers choice from the start. Personally i don't think we are a mile away and realistically you have to give him at least a couple of seasons

Why can’t we have the manager we have now learning from his mistakes?
Because it takes a big person to admit they were wrong, and you've two at the top of the bfc tree.
Sadler for reappointing Critchley and Critchley for not realising what he's doing away from home is fundamentally wrong🤷

You never know what the future holds
True, but I've got a good idea, though (Cambridge, Burton, Port Vale, Stevenage.)

The leopard would have to change it's spots. I can't see it. Why should we have to wait? Get someone in who doesn't fuck about with the team and has a plan B

I'm desperate for Blackpool and therefore Critchley and the players to do well. I don't see all critique as doom and gloom however, it really isn't that simple. I guess it comes down to expectations and performance levels. No one can complain too much about the results at home, although I'd argue not all performances have been at the level we'd like them to be. Away from home however is a different story, results have been poor but performances have actually been worse. Pompey was the only complete performance. Bristol, Oxford and Barnsley showed glimpses but also had spells that weren't great. 8th in the league after 32 games (we can't move anywhere else in the next 2), isn't a disaster but is at least 2 places away from being acceptable. Anyone who is happy with 8th must be bum-spiders, if the other side of the coin is D&G merchant?

Funny how we get certain individuals gloating in the wake of a defeat. Thank fuck AVFTT is only a minority representative especially after a loss🙈
doubt that anyone is really gloating in a defeat. I think it perfectly reasonable for fans to be angry, annoyed or whatever term you want to choose with a manager who seems unable to learn from the mistakes he keeps on making with the way he sets up the team to play away from home. Have a look at our away record this season. It, to put it bluntly, is unacceptable. And consider this, maybe those fans aren't gloating in a defeat, they just care more about the team than you do and so a defeat hurts more. Especially, when the manager seems to blame everybody else but himself when we get beat away from home.

I can’t understand some fans thinking we should of walked this league after the chit show last year, was always going to take some rebuilding, we are getting closer all the time, still think we will go up this year, we will finish above Stevenage for one.
Never thought we'd walk the league, just hoped we'd HAVE been more competitive.

And who would that be who doesn't fuck about as you call it, so what you got a new manager in who plays the same system.

Dobbie for one. When he was in charge he played players in their right positions and had us on the front foot when possible (we were in the Championship then). He had us organised at the back defending as a team. He made substitutions at the right time ect

Im not yet at the stage of writing us off but defeats like today after a toothless performance are hard to take. We have a back three that often has one moment in every game where they play statues. Our midfield is still lightweight and often bypassed and the strikers feed off scraps and can’t find the net.

The style of play is one more suited to the Championship but League One requires more muscle and the ability to mix it up. We can’t do that it seems and instead of imposing our pattern of play on the game we sink down to the basic long punt which our players are not suited to.

It is still possible for us to get into the play offs but games are starting to run out and unless we can work out how to win away we are destined to stay in this division.

Only my opinion this if you think Dobbie could do the job your delusional, he had nothing to lose when he took over and we played like that (by the way bottom of the Championship). When is the right time to make a substitution?
You say Dobbie for one who else?

As always, or Division 2. Since 1978 that is what we are. Prem was a miracle and Championship a rarity. We will go up but not this year, and soon after that we will be relegated back to Division 1.
Have you always been so positive, Prem wasn't a miracle they got there because they deserved it we had a decent side. Over a full season tables don't lie

You say people can't complain about the home form. Believe me, the miserable basta*ds do. Every week.

And I don't see any posts saying they are happy with 8th. Some have already decided that's our final place, while some think we can go up a couple of places.

After reading AVFTT, I realise I have been looking at this, the completely wrong way
I now agree with all the football manages of AVFTT

So what we do is.....

We get Sadler to spend loads and loads of money on players we have heard of on FIFA23
We then get a manager, obviously, one who must have played for us....because that's a guaranteed winner every time.
Because we have spent so much money, were guaranteed to win everything and get promoted............It's that ** simple.....

Why didn't anyone else think of it?

All I was pointing out is that people who critique aren't all D&Grs, just as those who are content aren't bum-spiders. I'm pretty fed up with our away form, to which most of that I attribute to Critchley and his tactics. I can cope with losing, but for Christ sake let's have a go or we will end up in 8th, which for me would be a massive failure and under achievement this season.
