Why give Barnsley the advantage? 2,000 is plenty at this stage.I still think we miss a trick not selling more to aways fans. I get the argument about giving them a whole side but even a couple more blocks over the course of a season, that money could be the difference in signing that striker we so obviously need.
I’m not sure there’s that many none lapsed Blackpool fans that are bothered enough for that game myself.Should really be selling out for a game like that
Equally what an atmosphere
It’s nothing to do with the club but down to the police and possibly health and safety.I still think we miss a trick not selling more to aways fans. I get the argument about giving them a whole side but even a couple more blocks over the course of a season, that money could be the difference in signing that striker we so obviously need.
Equally everyone / a huge majority in the north wants to stand and that helps our atmosphereIt's not that we won't sell. We have had our capacity cut because we aren't adhering to conditions i.e we don't ensure that supporters are sat in seats. Many stand up in the away end for the entire game. Yesterday Barnsley fans were stood in the aisles and on the back row. We don't steward the ground properly as can be seen in the North with people standing. When we had 16,000 every week in the prem we managed to adhere to ground regulations, now, for some reason, we shy away from doing so. As a result we have less income.
Probably put off if they listen to the moaners on the podcast.Should really be selling out for a game like that

Surely can’t be the prosaic footballProbably put off if they listen to the moaners on the podcast.
I accept that most people in the North want to stand but we are an all seater stadium and in breach of our safety certificate by allowing them to do so. The have been incidents of disorder which have landed the club in trouble which stem from the North - flares, chanting, bottles thrown. This could be avoided if the crowd was stewarded properly. Standing up all game is relatively recent problem in the new ground. Now it's established it will be very difficult to control. We don't have safe standing at Bloomers - until we do - we should respect the ground wasn't built for people to stand and watch. The North is a steep stand. No crush barriers makes it an accident waiting to happen.Equally everyone / a huge majority in the north wants to stand and that helps our atmosphere
On the away front I’d give Blocks W&X to away fans when there’s a large contingent and otherwise use that for match day sales ( so no STs there )
That frees up the corner for away as well and avoids the issue of having away fans all the way down the side which I know the players don’t like
North part of the east is then just used as home fans spill over
Bit hypocritical, when the whole North is stood up for 90 minutes, to ask the away fans to remain seated. It's not that we won't sell. We have had our capacity cut because we aren't adhering to conditions i.e we don't ensure that supporters are sat in seats. Many stand up in the away end for the entire game. Why would it give them an advantage? Why give Barnsley the advantage? 2,000 is plenty at this stage.
Bolton 12276What was our highest home gate? Barnsley or Bolton?
The away fans need to be closer to the North… 4 empty seats and a steward separate the biggest derbies in England but we’ve got half a stand… I get the stand configuration is shite but we need to sort it.Equally everyone / a huge majority in the north wants to stand and that helps our atmosphere

Agree, best games I’ve been to for atmosphere is when the away fans have been next to the North. The away fans need to be closer to the North… 4 empty seats and a steward separate the biggest derbies in England but we’ve got half a stand… I get the stand configuration is shite but we need to sort it.
improves the atmosphere as you can hardly hear them from the North now… Barnsley not a peep, didn’t even see them move to be fair.
Or get the majority of the North to move into the south… more room easier access more handsome clienteleThe away fans need to be closer to the North… 4 empty seats and a steward separate the biggest derbies in England but we’ve got half a stand… I get the stand configuration is shite but we need to sort it.

Think it was the game vs Blackbum (last season) & the trouble behind the east/north which stopped away fans being housed in the North end of the east. The away fans need to be closer to the North… 4 empty seats and a steward separate the biggest derbies in England but we’ve got half a stand… I get the stand configuration is shite but we need to sort it.

Nope home fans had use of the outdoor bar and toilets(like they do now) as a smoking area against Blackburn when there was trouble.Think it was the game vs Blackbum (last season) & the trouble behind the east/north which stopped away fans being housed in the North end of the east.
Not all 10,000 make a noise. Why would it give them an advantage?
We are the home side and have 10,000 fans supporting us.
So you're saying the majority of Blackpool fans haven't got the ability to think or make decisions for themselvesProbably put off if they listen to the moaners on the podcast.
Would’ve been that or higher all season if we played like we did all season during the first half on Saturday. Not one pass back to GrimmyBest of the Season 12526.
Where did I say majority? So you're saying the majority of Blackpool fans haven't got the ability to think or make decisions for themselves
OK Blackpool fans can't think or make decisions for themselves.Where did I say majority?
NoOK Blackpool fans can't think or make decisions for themselves.
Is that alright for you
I wouldnt mind sitting in the east. used to love the old scratching sheds. if they allowed concessions as well.Never mind giving away fans more seats, why not open the first one or two blocks of the east to home fans. It is already segregated by the press section an if the section immediately north of the press is closed I don't really see a problem. Away fans leave to the south and home fans leave to the north.
