Nobbers message board in meltdown…..

You‘re the one who used the word deluded, not me.

Serious question, is he really worth £4 million? From what I’ve seen he’s a good championship player but not Premier League standard.
Obviously he is worth it as someone paid it!

Although I don’t think he is a Prem player yet which is way they probably loaned him to their sister club straight away.

One thing we're not is skint, get your facts right.

For a start, we haven't been forced to sell our "star" player for peanuts.

£4 million wasn't it? 😂
Yes you are skint, the Hemmings family have had enough. You have one year left from uncle Trevor’s will to keep you afloat and then it’s bye bye 👋😀
Oh and with add ins I believe Bowlers eventual fee could rise to £6 million, not a bad bit of business really when you consider we got him for nothing 😘

If I won a Nobbers season ticket in a raffle, YES, the booby prize, it would have to be in the away end.

Thats what your fans were saying or implying.

Of course he's worth that, good championship players are worth that with a small amount of contract left.

He was the best dribbler in the championship and regularly beat 2 or 3 players and went on crazy runs into the box and gets his shot off, scores goals and set people up. He was great. The ball was glued to his feet.

With 8 months left on his contract, £6m including add ons is a great fee. Might be far better with a sell on clause too...

Now, do you still think Riis is worth £10m? 😂😂

Not sure how we can talk. Our fans are even worse every time we don't win a match, calling for appletons head, booing the players, slagging the board and the owner who is pumping 10's of millions into the club over the next few years.
That’s fans at every club isn’t it? Football fans are fickle.

Regarding the proposed BFC training facility, it is probably worth pointing out that Trevoe Hemmings bought Ingol golf club and and there was a clause in the contract that it would remain green belt for 25 years. As soon as that period expired, the club was closed and he submitted plans to build a new academy for use by PNE. However, it was conditional in that the council had to agree that he could build houses on a large proportion of the land. The houses have gone up but not the academy, nor is there any sign of it appearing, Some land has been donated for public use because it was unaccessible to traffic.
In the meantime, PNE continue to use UCLAN facilities (built largely with public money) but UCLAN refuse to let local teams play there now (not very helpful for local talent). The investment in park pitches over the past 20+ years has beeen close to zero so grassroots has been royally shafted. In fact it appears that UCLAN have an unhealthy influence over the town (lets face it, it's not a real city) and its infrastructure. The dual carriage ring road has been dug up for a couple of years to lay down a cycle lane for students. Not sure what the planners were on when that was decided.
I believe that we are in a decent position and better placed that PNE to move forward. Time will tell, but you've got to be concerned if your club has Risdale involved in it.

Is he worth £4m? Well as he's scored as many goals in the championship this season as the whole of your squad I'd say he's probably worth all your lot put together. So no, clearly not worth £4m.

Ooh good a toxic environment .. no chance of moving our fixture forward is there 😆

So these are the next 10 games for PNE.......I'm guessing that Lowe will be potted by the time they turn up to Bloomfield in late October and they will struggle to sell out a 12 seater mini bus from Sleepdale........Will they bring their flags with them...🤣

Bristol City
Burnley
Sheffield Utd
Sunderland
West Brom
Norwich
Stoke
Huddersfield
Blackpool
Middlesborough
PNE have had it fairly easy so far, the average position of their opposition in the eight games played is 16th **
Those upcoming fixtures include 4 of the top 5 😱

(** Average position of our opposition so far is 11th)

I'm pretty sure they don't train at UCLAN, they bought Wigan's TG in Euxton not so long ago. Plus they still use Springfields for their lower age groups.
