No more Saturday 3pm live streams.

EFL just announced new deal with Sky from next season.

No more iFollow. No stream for every EFL match. At weekends, only 5 league 1/2 matches live (out of 24). No 3pm Saturday fixtures.
All league 1/2 midweek fixtures will be shown live, as will all games played on Bank Holidays and during international breaks. All EFL cup/trophy matches streamed.

One subscript though:
Domestic streaming audio services will remain alongside existing audio-visual arrangements for international audiences via iFollow and club streaming services.

So iFollow potentially remains, but only for non-UK viewers. (or via a VPN) .

No more iFollow.
That's simply not the truth......

A VPN and it's still available here too but I accept that it's a win-win for illegal streaming platforms.

From the 2024/25 season onward, this agreement makes more matches available to stream and will effectively replace the current Sky Sports EFL red button coverage and the EFL's domestic streaming option provided via iFollow and club streaming services. Domestic streaming audio services will remain alongside existing audio-visual arrangements for international audiences via iFollow and club streaming services.

FFG? 🙄 Is that a splinter from the officially constituted Firestick Supporters Group? 🤔
This is not acceptable. What happened to solidarity? Believe me, this is where it starts. We'll all be speaking German next, or worse......... 😬
🤣 I can't recall which AVFTT'er started the group last week.
But I don't think they were being very kind to the poster who was referring to his use of a firestick, rather than pay to watch our games 🤣

🤣🤣🤣 fair point…

I live in Thailand though and it’s a bit far, although still support two adult season tickets and an annual streaming pass, plus the monthly TTV!!

I would be gutted if they stopped Saturday international streaming though 🥲
Every credit seasideone 👍

For UK Exiles, like me, (ie Without ‘dodgy-sticks’) as I read it - & totally open to correction, the main change is….

The £10 TTV ‘Match Pass’ for live streaming of midweek games will disappear & will instead be replaced via a Now/Sky Day/Month/Longer pass/subscription.

Not a problem, for me at least, if this is the case - & potentially better value for those like myself who already have Sky & like to watch a variety of matches, but it seems maybe an increase for non-Sky/Now subscribers? 🤷

Unfortunately if the crime ain't Policied what do you expect people to do?
It's know different from when we all copied music on cassettes or CD's and no one got into trouble so there's only one way to stop and if the Police can't be arsed why should anyone.

As long as our club gets paid I don't really see any issues with this it wasn't like I-Follow didn't get to keep a big chunk of those £10.
It was crap value anyway when you consider that you can have SKY Sports for 24 hours for £12 or £30(26 on a deal)a month.

Two prisoners in a cell . What you in for says one , armed robbery is the reply . You ? I watched Crewe v Forest Green Rovers on my stick .

The police wouldn't be arsed about shoplifting from the club shop. Would you?

It would be good for the game tbf, talking as one who lazily has missed a few games this season despite having a season ticket, i’d of gone if I couldn’t have watched it on the tele.

The fact that you can't legally watch on a Saturday is a joke - not read all the above but hopefully this goes someway to addressing this. I pay for virgin and get sport.

I've paid for Ttv on numerous occasions this year , and had to resort to my alternative on more than one occasion. Ttv is not good enough.
Most people will pay if it's good quality / good value for money

Before ifollow/dodgy sticks etc I’d have listened to the commentary on the radio if possible. I’ve rarely bothered with away games so nothing lost there anyway. I will get another ST next season as I usually do regardless of what league we are in & the boring games we’ve had to endure or whoever the manager is.

I live on the other side of the world and watch pretty much every game (maybe missed one this season) and TTV works fine.

Most people blame the stream provider when in reality it’s their own setup, or the stability of their own internet.

Works well for me in Oz too.

Nothing up with my internet - evidenced by my alternative working fine when Ttv isn't. I accept though that it's fine the majority of the time.

Maybe ttv doesn't like my VPN - but then that links back to the need to actually use one.

I would guess your vpn is not 100% stable then, a lot are not.

I obviously don’t use one for TTV.

The sooner the EFL realise the income that could be generated from showing games on iFollow in the UK the more revenues they will make clubs.

With over 1,000 EFL fixtures live on Sky Sports via Sky and NOW each season, iFollow will cease to offer domestic live video coverage of EFL matches.

How many of those 1,000 fixtures will feature us? My guess is 2!

I have no issue with TTV at £10 an away game when I'm not running a coach and the money goes to the club.👍

I will as usual buy an ST and go to home games but, sometimes I don't go for various reasons.

If the club could give access to ST holders to also buy home games on TTV I would happily pay another £10 a game to the club.

I have a "dodgy stick" it buffers and drives me mad, I would much rather pay £10 a game for uninterrupted coverage!

I am aware that dodgy sticks fund all sorts of wrong doings but I use it as a last resort to watch TMP if I have no other avenue.

Buy the way is TTV on an app yet? and can you subscribe direct from your Smart TV or do you have to watch it through your computer and put that on your tv via HDMI as I have been doing so far?
