I assume you are talking about the Blackpool South line.
Agree this needs improving.
As for Blackpool North, the line has recently been electrified and offer services to various locations .
Not sure where you live though.
Plans for more services to London were planned until COVID. kicked in.
 
A brand new "Car Park" on the Wilko site that is next to the Train Station "Car Park" opposite another "Muilti story "Car park". Oh yes and another Multi story "Car Park" being built on Chapel Street and yes another "Car Park" on Station Road. Blackpool needs another "Car Park" like it needs sand. 🙄
 
Central Drive just needs bulldozing. Also need to stop all the landlords let their properties fall apart whilst getting £85 per week, per flat, from the benefits system with no one marshalling the dross flats you wouldn't put an animal in. I've been in loads of flats all over Blackpool due to a previous job and many are disgusting. The landlords dont care they don't ever go in them, most live away.

They might want to go straight to the pleasure Beach, or elsewhere.

It can be raining a lot too.... when the winds against you and rain in your face I'd be waiting for the tram.

Its about image too, it looks good having trams come into there, brings people up too where they may not have come up so might give more footfall to another area.

Hundreds of other hotels on the prom are available don't you know ?An extension to Charnley Rd ? Great idea I'll email the council about that.👍😜
