You really can't argue with £3 a pint either - even if it is lager in a plastic cup.
Seems they provide pies to a lot of North West football clubs

The pies can't have been that bad, most half times last season I witnessed someone ranting and the staff because there were none left so some bugger was eating them.

Same as the nobbers and Blackburn etc and in morrisons I think. Wasn't massively impressed from memory. The ones we had were big and had a lot of filling from the pork shop, however the taste was OK, but at times questionable.
I'll certainly give the new ones a proper go.

I suppose they would.... My experience had nothing to do with the cooking at all... Unless the Club had somehow managed to remove any flavour from the pies. Their Pork Sausage Rolls were excellent... Their Meat and Potatoes pies were bland and tasteless ... reminded me of water.

The Pork Shop pies were excellent in their first season, but then something happened. They either got sold or expanded too quickly, moved their production and changed their recipes, and the pies were never the same. Last season, there was only meat and potato or cheese and onion as a choice - no steak, chicken or anything else. Pies for me last season were a last resort for something to eat, rather than something to enjoy. So they weren't purchased very often. I look forward to a wider selection and an improvement in quality and taste.

Meh, it's ok. Seems to be hugely overpriced like Moretti is from experience.
Obviously it's 100% better than Fosters

Decent lager that and good idea to have a deal on to get more people in. It's hard enough to get served in the concourse though so hopefully they've considered that and made some amendments.

Cruzcampo is a decent beer, however only had it in Spain so will be interesting to see how it tastes at Bloomfield Road..
