What’s the point of putting Madine on the bench.....
If your a goal down and you don’t use him....
Would Feeney not be an option at least he can cross a ball

He's an non-scoring striker. It's more a question of trying to replace with someone like Armand Gnanduillet.

He's a really great bloke, no excuses, clearly gutted and frustrated but magnanimous and gave Plymouth good praise. Must have wondered how we never got anything out of that but his honesty is very refreshing.

On paper & with the stats we should have won, but today was one of those games where they were wrong, it happens. Lets see after a few games. I think we'll be ok, dunno if we'll be in contention for promotion though, hope so.

I'm sure we are all happy with Critchley and the way he has conducted himself in pre-season and the progress we have made in our style of football. I think despite some mishaps in the substitutions today and a little indecisiveness, the loss ultimately falls down to the players finesse in the final 3rd and a little bit of luck, today could and should have been a 3/4-1 win but it wasn't. There wasn't much Critchley could have done but utilised the subs better but today just wasn't our day. Maybe in 4 games time only if this streak continues should we be concerned but for now, I'm more than happy with the way things are going.

The positive is the style of play, entertaining football the like of which we’ve been starved of for a long time.

However, he needs to start winning, if not, lovely football isn’t going to keep the fans happy forever, and the mood will start to change unless we do in the next few games.

I’m sure we will, but he either needs to coach the strikers we have how to score, or bring in one, or even two, that can.

The problem is we don't have a striker worthy of the name. If you take a look at their career records it's no wonder we struggle to score goals. Critchley hasn't cured our problems up front and still needs to address the failings at centre back too.

If we are not in contention for promotion, the fella will be in trouble.
