Will he go, or will he stay, big meeting in London apparently to thrash out a deal of £215 million. If accepted, he will get £2.5 million a week. Unbelievable Jeff.
100% he goes. Liverpool or Salah cannot turn that deal down. Liverpool will try to buy MbappeLiverpool won’t sell. They don’t have a replacement and to be honest the Saudis will pay that or more in Jan or next summer.
That’s why I don’t think it will be in this window.100% he goes. Liverpool or Salah cannot turn that deal down. Liverpool will try to buy Mbappe
He needs all that money so he can give some financial help to Henderson who is obviously having a tough time of it.Will he go, or will he stay, big meeting in London apparently to thrash out a deal of £215 million. If accepted, he will get £2.5 million a week. Unbelievable Jeff.
Just remember that when your finger is hovering over that central heating boiler, or getting in your car for a needless journey, you’re paying Liverpool’s fees.No wonder fuel prices are rising, has to be to pay these footballers wages
That’s why I don’t think it will be in this window.
They’d have to play in the Prem without their star man and no replacement until Jan.
If they can strike a deal with PSG behind the scenes they’ll flog Salah off in Jan
so you wouldn't go for 2.5 million a week TAX FREE bollocksI wouldn't sell my best player & surely these players have enough money. The governing bodies from whatever countries they are from of play in should place sanctions on these twats something like happened to the cricketers in the 80's for playing in South Africa. Financial fair play my arse. They wouldn't be allowed to play in Europe or international teams again if it were up to me.
I’d walk tomorrow for that but he’s under contract for 2 years so it’s in Liverpools hands.so you wouldn't go for 2.5 million a week TAX FREE bollocks
It won't be long before UEFA ignore geography and El Hittiad etc are in the Champions League. I won't be watching, just as I don't watch it now. These transfer fees and wages in the Saudi league are now getting obscene, even Liverpool would be mad to turn down that kind of offer and for the player £2.5m per week is just crazy money.
The thing is no matter how many top footballers that league sign I am not interested one bit in watching any of it, imagine live football on a Tuesday or Wednesday night in winter, you've got a choice of Champions League games say Bayern Munich v Chelsea or Man City v Barcelona or El Hittiad v El Dorado or whatever El are in town, not a cat in hells chance of watching any of that nonsense no matter who they sign.
He'll surely go for that. With that salary, he'll be able to buy Egypt.
me too cant see him going but possibly in january windowI’d walk tomorrow for that but he’s under contract for 2 years so it’s in Liverpools hands.
As multi millionaire already what the fuck can he do with even more money, have some morals & resist selling out to the Saudis.so you wouldn't go for 2.5 million a week TAX FREE bollocks
Yacht, Private Jet, Personal Chef for life, houses across the world…if I was in his position at 30 years old and winning pretty much everything domesticallyAs multi millionaire already what the fuck can he do with even more money, have some morals & resist selling out to the Saudis.
Not necessarily as surely the price of a replacement would be sky high for the same reasons. It's impossible, really, for Liverpool and Mo Salah to turn the deal down.
Salah, at best, has 3 or perhaps 4 seasons at the top, and could end up with half a billion pounds wages, plus endorsements.
Liverpool would be able to strengthen their squad considerably and cement themselves in the Champions League for years to come.
However, my main thoughts are for Blackpool, and hope for a promotion this season.

talking 1.2 million per week the Saudis talking about 3 plus 1 year contract that would earn him £250million, He's on over £300k now at liverpool good luck to himTbf who can blame him..who the fuck can get by on £400-500k a week…
I've never been on the real breadline, tight over the years during my kids growing up. But I've managed ok & TBH I've never been a materialistic person. So I wouldn't go. But he probably will. FFS he's on £15 million a year.so you wouldn't go then
talking 1.2 million per week the Saudis talking about 3 plus 1 year contract that would earn him £250million, He's on over £300k now at liverpool good luck to him
and remember he's Egyptian so he is used to the heat etc
Can't see the point in thatI would deffo be building my own pyramid.
It's a pharaoh joke that it.Can't see the point in that
I find the effect on the Premier League quite amusing. They are having done to them what they did to the Football League. Now they know how it feels to no longer be top dog in the greed stakes.£2.5 Million a week. Can you blame him?
Near the end of a fantastic career.
Good luck to him.
However, I still hate the effect that the Arabs are having on Football.
P.S. one of my favourite current players.
I get your drift and agree that the 'Greed League' have been doing this to other leagues for years. So it is quite amusing to see this. But to date the vast majority of players who have been tempted by the Saudi money have been at or towards the end of their careers. I know Salah is still a great player and by all accounts he's a fitness fanatic, but at 31 he's probably only got another couple of seasons at that level. Father time catches up with everyone, no matter the ability. Ronaldo being a prime example.I find the effect on the Premier League quite amusing. They are having done to them what they did to the Football League. Now they know how it feels to no longer be top dog in the greed stakes.
I see where you're coming from, but I don't think that 'Prem to Prem club' transfer fees command the same amounts. Not necessarily as surely the price of a replacement would be sky high for the same reasons.
Agree with that. There are also 2 further problems for Klopp. Firstly, he can't replace him straight away. Secondly, the foreign owners may seek take out some of the huge fee for themselves. The problem with Liverpool taking the money, is that any replacement is going to be hugely more expensive as these huge fees inflate top players values
as soon as clubs know liverpool have sold for xyz they will inflate the price of any player liverpool then go after .Agree with that. There are also 2 further problems for Klopp. Firstly, he can't replace him straight away. Secondly, the foreign owners may seek take out some of the huge fee for themselves.
No but if the Saudis get in on the buying of our bloody game they will be even more astronomical sums. And to think many people are living in abject poverty throughout the world. It totally all stinks.I see where you're coming from, but I don't think that 'Prem to Prem club' transfer fees command the same amounts.

Klopp has consistently found players who are below the level City have bought at, around £30-40m, and improved them to being world class. Not necessarily as surely the price of a replacement would be sky high for the same reasons.
Ok the Saudi influence won’t effect anything. I give up.Klopp has consistently found players who are below the level City have bought at, around £30-40m, and improved them to being world class.
With £200m he could bring in 4 or 5 players and cement them as City's nearest challengers until he leaves.
It's certainly increased the values of players who are coming to the end of their careers; no way would Liverpool have received the fees they did for Henderson and Fabinho from European teams. Look at how much Chelsea have recouped from players they'd normally have struggled to offload.Ok the Saudi influence won’t effect anything. I give up.
Cos the world's full of greedy bastardswhy does anyone need more money than what they are on in the premier league ?
Que Sera, SalahCos the world's full of greedy bastards
