Great goal and game from him. Don't think I have seen a worse premier league performance from a player over the one from Danny Rose today. Looked painfully slow in both speed and being able to move the ball. Looked no where near fit
 
Listened to the game on Talksport, one of the commentators said it was the best goal he’d ever seen live! Look forward to seeing it tonight on MOTD.
 
He’s just mesmerising. You could see every bit of the build up as if it’s in slow motion. I think it’s his coolness that makes everyone else panic. They just can’t handle it.
 
Just watched it again on MOTD yep brilliant, also his excellent pass with the outside of his left foot with power for Mane’s first goal!

Agreed, that pass was so bloody good.

Yeah watch it from the correct angle in slow mo and watch him roll the ball away from players with his studs. Fantastic skill all round

In fact, it was almost the very same and from the same position.
Isn't he Egyptian? If so, how on earth is he so good, where did he learn his football skills?

I just Wiki'd him, small Cairo club as a kid then to Basel in Switzerland. Had no idea that Chelsea then signed him as a 22yo but he didn't impress and they let him go 🤣 Roma then Liverpool. Just a natural talent I guess but a confidence player who has got better and better and is now in his prime. Seems a lovely bloke too.
 
It was a good goal but I wouldn't get all frothy about it because I'm not a closet Scouser.

Cathcart has got to answer a few questions there, not tight enough to begin with and then just sort of follows him around before helpfully sliding himself out of the reckoning.

You don't have to be a closet Scouser to appreciate the goal.

The same way Maradonna's second was genius v England in '86. Give credit where its due. Poor defending or not, nobody else was capable of doing what he did
 
His control of the ball whilst surrounded by three defenders was mesmerising and then to create space for himself, dump Cathcart on his arse and leave Foster staring into space was something else. Best player on the planet by far.

Dunno where he learnt his skills, but he had a rapid climb up the football pyramid...😜
