Michael Flynn ??

He would actually be top of my list. Although I don't think we'd get him. His ties with Newport are far stronger than the short time he spent with us.
 
Good call but I still don't get why it has to be an ex player who will be the best manager for the club.
Ollie didn't or Billy Ayre so can we stop the fixation with people who played for the club.
 
Decent enough shout but I get the feeling that Sadler will want a bit of ambition. He always said he wanted to get out of this league in the next couple of seasons and so he'll want someone like Larry with a proven record (although clearly that doesn't always work!).
