MCLF Match Blog - the Mighty vs Forest Green Rovers

I too was in an unaccustomed place near the dugout. I noticed the coaching staff had a TV and had managed to find a live stream. However I swear at one point they were watching SPOTY.
If you missed the second goal, trying to get a glimpse of Mary Earps exceptance speech, it came from the pass of the season from Norbs. I was muttering just before that about how as soon as he comes on, and he's snatched the armband, everyone has to pass to him, the game slows down (even more) and then he hits the pass to Gabriel.
For me the positive is that yet again we make 9 changes and we still get a positive outcome. Repeating what others have said we have good strength in depth in the squad which will be important as the season develops.
IF King Kenny goes Morgan can slip in.
A big positive is that Jordan Rhodes played, so that means Udders didn't mind him being cup-tied.

I would imagine we did things properly and the 'can Jordan play in the cup' box was ticked when he first came on loan, when Hudders didn't want him.
Well I hope so. We don't want the FA finding out we hadn't in the middle of March and having to play FGR again.
