Given the weather conditions, I thought it was a great exhibition of controlled football with no little skill.

As comfortable a game we've had in a long time.

I know you made reference to Dembele, quite rightly, but i thought Dougall deserved more of a shout, looking a class above anything they had in midfield. The much vaunted Moxon didn’t cover himself in glory, failing to make any meaningful contribution.

All in all, what could have been a tricky fixture for us ended up in a very comfortable win. Onwards and upwards.

And fuck the FA.

Dougall was fine. He's back to where he was at his best. You don't need to mention him cos he just does Kenny Dougall things week in week out. I thought Penno was excellent too.
 
On point again. Poor old Graham Kelly though. Mad as it is, I think the FA may have been a better place, or at least not quite so useless, under his owlish gaze.
 
Good read as always but I don't know how you've got away with the hidden camera Chez Neil&Jannine for so long. 😁
Plenty of respect for all our players (and a little bit for theirs as well) for playing in those conditions yesterday.
I'm pleased to see another potential member of the Penno fan club.

Penno is going to be the new Hubby when Hubby is finally too old to be the current Hubby.
