MCLF Match blog: Carlisle Utd vs the Mighty

I had to settle for watching on TTV. Obviously the "elements" are not so apparent on the screen and they are just another excuse but were clearly "difficult" yesterday.
We won, yeh! but jt was another poor performance and blaming it on Critch is so very easy especially when he uses his substitutes the way he did yesterday.
Parts of our game aren't bad. We generally defend well, apart from the odd mistake, we keep possession and get the ball forward eventually (but far to slowly) but then we fall apart in the final third. That's without question or achilles heal and Critch does of course know that. Now is that his fault?
We tend to think so or is it that he simply doesn't have the tools to rectify it? Where would we have been with a full season of Jordan Rhodes.
Sadly I dont think we can make the play-offs but remarkably we still could.

Great as always… why did the stand we were in not angle at the corner? Instead it continued itself past the pitch towards Hadrian’s Wall.

Michael Knighton started a plan to shift the stadium that way and open up more space at the Warwick Road end - but he never got further than that stand.
