I’d be happy to donate my would have been ticket cost to Eastbourne, Bradford City have done a similar thing, thoughts? I don’t think iFollow will show will it?
Likelihood of it being live on BBC/BT. 16 games being covered.I’d be happy to donate my would have been ticket cost to Eastbourne, Bradford City have done a similar thing, thoughts? I don’t think iFollow will show will it?
Good idea Kurt, would you be suggesting BST be best placed to co-ordinate, if possible and they wanted to? Or do you feel it a club initiative?I’d be happy to donate my would have been ticket cost to Eastbourne, Bradford City have done a similar thing, thoughts? I don’t think iFollow will show will it?
Let's pray for some TV time for Eastbourne if not I can set something up if no one else does.Good idea Kurt, would you be suggesting BST be best placed to co-ordinate, if possible and they wanted to? Or do you feel it a club initiative?
Either way happy to contribute.
I've got a feeling it will be on telly - it's ripe for an upset and the BBC love showing the 1953 highlightsLet's pray for some TV time for Eastbourne if not I can set something up if no one else does.
Agreed.Hopefully this will be a BBC game.... if not happy to donate
Solihull Moors got my away and home ticket money and I will be doing the same for Eastbourne, TV or no TV.Agreed.
But it's only a couple of years since the Solihull Moors games were on TV, so the broadcasters may feel it's someone else's turn.
It's almost like there will be a rollercoaster of emotionsIt's got BBC 1pm Sunday all over this game. Seaside towns, contrasts, it'll have someone at the BBC Cliché dept. going mental.
With no one in attendance the stadium will be like a ghost house...It's almost like there will be a rollercoaster of emotions

Friends, that would be a fantastic gesture. (I'm Eastbourne Borough's media officer.) This game is literally the biggest in our 55-year history - we did host Oxford Utd in the FA Cup 15 years ago but they were a mere Div Two! We were thrilled when the pairing came out of the hat - ha, probably a bit more thrilled than you are! To us, you are giants, especially with your FA Cup history, and but for this Bloody Virus we would now have been preparing a warm welcome, in the best sense. We have a saying in non-league, "rivals not enemies" and we live and breathe it at Borough.
Hold off on that suggestion at this stage. We're praying for TV coverage but still waiting to hear. Of course, if so, it's a payday. If not, it's literally touch-and-go whether the game even breaks even without spectators. If the TV boys overlook us, we will set up a live stream but with our facilities, that's really only a second best.
Best wishes and I'll keep you posted.
