Now is the time.

Beat Orient and we close that gap as well as effectively knocking them out of the running.
Beat the Shrews too and we're on a roll. They still owe us for Stan McEwan's disallowed 40 yard piledriver all those years ago. Should be a great following too.

Other teams have to stutter, but history shows that can and will happen. But, if we're going to do it this season our away form has to gel.

For the first time this season I feel excited about our prospects.

I'll be amazed if we get any. At least in a way we feel positive about anyway. It's a tough travel week for any team but particularly ours when we've shown no readiness for this sort of challenge so far this season.
 
Stan was a great player and if it wasn’t the era of narey and gough would have been a regular for Scotland. Better than his brother Billy.
 
Given our away form, expecting 2 wins (and 3 in a row when you count Peterborough) seems fanciful. 4 points would be good, 6 would be fantastic. It's been a long time since I've been to Brisbane Road, I'm looking forward to a decent game and hopefully a Blackpool win.

I think 4 points from the next 2 away games is good and sets up Pompey at home nicely.

Saturday was superb but that’s the level now and too many times we’ve been up and down.

Hopefully we’re bang at it and Byers can play a big part again 🙏🏼
 
Stan was the scorer on my Bloomfield league match debut, a lovely volley at the South end from around the penalty spot. 1-1 draw with the good Watford team that went through the divisions.

We can afford to draw tonight, as long as we win at Shrew. But let's keep the momentum going and get the win tonight lads.
