Marcus Rashford

What an indictment on these kids parents. Shocking. Not blaming the kids but with the benefit system there’s absolutely no excuse for people to not feed their kids. And don’t get me started on school breakfast clubs. How much does tea and toast cost or cereal and milk. And if the child tells the teacher they’ve had no breakfast then social services informed, warning given, if it happens again then it’s Tracy Beaker time I’m afraid. Nanny state gone mad.

Could you get by with four kids on £300 a week? Just checking. No benefit increase in 5 years while inflation alone has been running at 3%.

4 kids fine but why should the rest of us pay for them

No benefit increase in 5 years 😬 It’s not a career in some cases it’s a life choice why don’t they get a job

And finally are they getting a 20per cent cut in benefits because of the corona shutdown ?

No !

Well yes to be honest Wiz. Are you seriously suggesting you couldn’t rustle up evening meals and breakfasts for your own kids from £300 a week?
And pay your other bills, rent etc? It's not just for food. Benefits aren't paid direct to third parties anymore.

No they wouldn't. Payments capped at 2 kids.
Not just the kids taken into account for benefits

I am referring to the long term unemployed that have no interest in working for a living

Nothing personal just my opinion and from what I have actually seen people receive

I'm not getting into the benefit argument but - No it hasn't.
It's not been at 3% since Dave took over.

Well done Rashford👍🏻

I believe the government is going to be giving out food vouchers as a stop gap. Sadly, whether the kids actually get the food from the vouchers isn't guaranteed.
