Low Bid Rejected

How low can we go for Joe, if we want him, and we must if we’ve made a bid, then move from low to a bit more

Looks like we're looking for one more CB as the cherry on top.

Wonder how much "substantial" was? Valued at 225k on Transfermarkt so would guess we'd at a minimum meet that.

Also probably indicates we could've gotten Moxon if we wanted to, probably thought Byers was a better option (I agree).

Only signed for them in the summer but nowhere seemed to report the contract length. It was following a trial so maybe they only gave him a 1 year deal so the club are thinking they can nab him with only 6 months left?

According to his Wikipedia page (not the most reliable I know) he signed from Bristol from an undisclosed fee ?

Usually tactic of bidding for someone with 4 hours to go so make it look like we’ve tried to spend

As a season ticket holder for Wycombe, I have to say, he would be class for us. Tall, wins everything, already accustomed to playing in a back three, and a goal threat on set pieces too.

Also a full Welsh international at 21.

Would be quality.
Leave it AT, you have had more clubs than Peter Stringfellow

Saddlers mate Sat's this about him,:
He is a no nonsense kind of player....lacked a bit of finesse on the ball but very committed....I liked him!

Haha time will tell on that mate. I see he's already saying he can't wait to play in his actual position of strength...
He's much improved since we loaned him out, but every time he played well he was dropped the game after. 🙄

Are you a season ticket collector?

I think Low would have been an excellent signing and at 6ft 5ins sounded like a replacement for Marv
Just said exactly the same on the ‘what do we think of the signings thread’

We still lack height at the back I mean big players not just 6ft.
