Looks like my words to the dinosaur on the 40 minute

Does the O/P genuinely think he’s had any influence? I thought this was a joke
It will have had a bearing on it as he got to know our real feelings and it may have just pushed those upstairs over the tipping point.

If you think a manager with 20+ years experience could give two fucks what some bald stranger thinks about him to the point where it would influence his career decisions you’re a ** idiot
I am pretty sure the mob that went round there had an effect.
You sit on your hands like the rest of the mushrooms and stew in that little world of 💩where they belong.
Doing nothing achieves nothing.....

if a manager, however experienced, is starting to feel like he’s the problem not the solution. Then is told in no uncertain terms that he’s not wanted. It might just be the tipping point for him. Because even dinosaurs like to feel wanted…

Phil, good for you. And thank you for saying what you said. MM needed to hear it.

To the many posters clutching at their pearls and saying “think of the children” - if your kids can’t handle raw emotion and language they should not be at a football ground. It must be a long trip anyway every week to come all the way to Bloomfield Road from the moral high ground.

I suggested to the interim board at the first fans forum that for the comeback season they should have done a "year zero" on reserved season ticket seats. That would have dramatically changed the atmosphere in the West for the better, particularly in L,M an N blocks which was prime territory under the Stains regime. They were too risk averse to do it.

It took a lot longer than I thought it would 😵

They have no soul and don't understand what being passionate about our club means.
They will most likely be the feckless mushrooms that sat on their hands while there was a battle going on around them to save our club.
Save our club ? The clubs future is with our kids and if you had taken your kid for the first time and seen some scary looking adult having a hissy fit at the manager ,you wouldn't be taking them again. I don't know if you noticed ,but there were large numbers of school kids from local football teams at that game and if you think that's going to save our club you need to give your head a wobble.

Oh look here come the pack of wolves
Loads of d*ckheads on here. You had every right to vent your frustrations to get him out of our Club (If only Bullsh*t Ben was around to do the same). That was one of, if not thee, worst performance I have seen in person in all the years I have been watching Blackpool. Utterly spineless and it comes from the top, right through to MM. I have never been so frustrated watching them. I can't get over how outdated MM's tactics are, and how a Manager can have such an opposite effect on a squad. He's line-up (player, position-wise) and substitutions baffled me, you would genuinely think he's never Coached any of them before. He can't have watched any games before coming here.

My blood pressure never rises above normal(seriously) and I have no stress in my life, but when it comes to a fight to do what's best for this club then I am more than up for it.
So the manager went on Phil's say so and parents of future fans won't be put off by ranting grown ups . Well that's really helping the club. In the seventies Blackpool like most other clubs were getting at least twice the home support , but because of anti social behaviour from some of the fans ,from hooligans ,to fights ,to racists chants .Not to mention flares and smoke bombs. Numerous people including my wife have been put off over the years. That's helping the club

Very well said Fella 🧐👍

Think your head wobbled a long time ago 😄

wow, you just love your lies don't you? Go and check our home attendances through the 70's. Nowhere near double our home support than now. In most cases it wasn't even half of what it is now.

If the stranger had a lovely head of hair though, say like Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen, that would make all the difference?
Well said👍🏻as a proud fully paid up member of the baldy union, we have to stick together 🧡

Apart from your attendance statement (you are MILES out), I agree with everything else you say.

Try 70 , 71 and 72 when we were in the top 2 divs not when we were fighting to get back in the football league . I remember 26,000 against Bolton . And if you are trying to tell me that anti social behaviour is good for the club you just show what you are.

So because I think Phil is deluded for thinking he’s had any genuine influence on events that means I’m sitting on my hands and accepting what’s going on?

Phil has some weird little fan club on here of grown men who are constantly up his arse despite the fact he talks shite most of the time, it’s really bizarre

The average attendance for 1971 was 20,472,the year we were relegated ,but attendances didn't drop that much the following year. Our attendances are about 11,000 this year . So I don't think I am that far out.

I'm well aware of that. You said "the seventies" which covers 10 years but you only seem to be considering the early 70s. Make your mind up.
