Letters gone out

Cheers bozzer.
My worry she's been living with a low immune system and taking the prescriptions for decades and stable so the records might not pick up her plight.

I think anyone who thinks they’ve slipped through the cracks can contact the number on the letter sent out (if you can get hold of the number) and explain their circumstances

I’ve also received the same stay at home text. I believe everyone will receive the same text as reported on the radio news earlier.

I think the text messages are different to the letters. The messages seem to be generic rather than targeted specifically to at risk people.

This is the text message from yesterday evening (For the 'vunerable' group):

NHS Coronavirus Service:
We have identified that you're someone at risk of severe illness if you catch Coronavirus. Please remain at home for a minimum of 12 weeks. Home is the safest place for you. Staying in helps you stay well and that will help the NHS too. You can open a window but do not leave your home and stay 3 steps away from others indoors. Wash your hands more often, for at least 20 seconds.

Had a phone call from my brothers surgery today to check up on him as he is vulnerable in many ways at the best of time, and a high risk at the moment. I'm his full time carer anyway, and even dealing with explaining things to him can be hard at times. But I thought it was fantastic that the surgery are checking up that he is okay. Blackpool Carers Centre also being fantastic.
