Leicester now charged.

This apparently won't get heard under the new "same season rules" because it relates to an alleged breach before those rules came into place. So that suggests it will be applied in 24/25.

Not good for them either way if they get done. No mention in the EPL statement of the size of the breach. It will be interesting to see how it is handled if thy are still a Championship club next season as the EFL are looking at them as well.

Edit to add, apparently they had lost £92.5m in the calculation that runs to 2022 (the limit is £105m). It's difficult to extrapolate though because the relevant calculations contain an averaged out figure for the two season affected by COVID.

The financial incompetence of PL clubs beggars belief. Of course this is a failing shared by clubs in other leagues, but they take it to a ridiculous level.

It seems to boil down to how adept your creative accountants are. I bet a few more clubs are sweating.

They turned down a reported bid of around 30 million for KDH in the last transfer window from Brighton which would have gone some way to level the books up.
Two fingers for doing that.

I’ve always had a strong dislike for the club. Mostly due to fair percentage of there fans been utter twats, think there a massive club and very confident. They’ve strong form for bending the rules and wish them nothing but bad luck
