Why not make it 4 o’clock as funerals only last about half an hour to three quarters usually, especially no fuss ones.

“The 32 fixtures set for 15:00 in the Championship, League One and League Two will take place at either 12:30 or 17:30.”

Looked extensively at EVERYTHING posted today, no mention of the Sunderland fixture, only the Bristol Rovers one.

That's not confirming though is it, until the official site says for certain whether it will be 12:30 or 17:30 then it isn't confirmed in my opinion.

🏟 Our home game against @SunderlandAFC on 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 will now kick-off at the earlier time of 𝟭𝟮.𝟯𝟬𝗽𝗺.

As a mark of respect, all 3pm Saturday fixtures have been moved in order to avoid a clash with the funeral of HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

It clearly says it’s not confirmed though doesn’t it.

I’m merely pointing you in the direction of information that you couldn’t find 😉

I read somewhere today that the efl were trying to reschedule all their games for Friday night.
I think I'd prefer that to Saturday noon personally.
Sunderland also playing tomorrow so it would be the same for both teams.
But.....JUST TELL US!!

I think switching the whole league to a Friday night would have created problems in terms of availabilty of so many officials. Many have other jobs
