Keogh Gone - Official

Listened to his interview with Ipswich iFollow. He seemed quite keen to get involved with helping the younger players develop. He obviously decided to stay with us another season as his option was taken up after discussions between him and Critchley. Maybe MA doesn't want him in that kind of role? He seems pretty happy to be closer to home though and he has strong connections with Ipswich.

our first season back in the championship could have turned out very differently without keogh. a wise old warrior who plays the game with personality and total conviction. invaluable off the pitch i'm sure too.

good luck richard, we'll miss you, but you'll always be welcome at bloomfield rd.

Good luck to the guy. Did a great job for us last season. Sorry to lose him. Something tells me he will still be playing at 40. Ipswich’s gain IMO.

The departure of Uncle Richard brought memories back of almost 60 years and something I had totally forgotten. Our English teacher used to give us what we called "contrast and compare" essays where we wrote about two characters and their attitudes. Today thought about it and our English teacher would have given us the topic "Compare and Contrast the departure of Uncle Richard and Critchley"

A fitting farewell to a man and player we will remember long after the likes of Brannagan and Simms have faded into dust 👍

This one doesnt make sense to me, i dont think we are strong enough to be getting rid, and we struggle to get players in
