Just made me more thankful than ever that we got Simon Sadler rather than chancers like that Donald fella who took over there. Didn’t have a proverbial pot to piss in, cracked on he wanted it to be the fans bankrolling it because it’d mean more, and basically just cut costs. Is he still there or has he sold it?

Watched the whole season today and laughed a lot at the super fans who "deserve" more.

Stewart Donald is still the chairman/owner as far as I know. I heard he put around £8m in to aquiring Sunderland then used parachute payments to pay the rest owed. I was told this by a couple of Sunderland supporters. Not sure how true it is, but I think you hit the nail on the head that he aint got a pot to piss in.

I thought Charlie Methven, the CEO, was the biggest clown of the piece. Proper David Brent type. Cringe

If I was filming the Fleetwood documentary, I would be waiting for Joeys court case.
Imagine getting court scenes of Joey crying as he was taken down to start a 2 year sentence for being a BONK (just for mods)......I would watch that.🤣

Aye, only seen the first one but when he's banging on about the run out music for about 15 minutes it's ridiculous.

I think Blackpool FC would have been a brilliant one to film. Chronicling after the stains left and the rebuilding of the connection to the fans etc. Shame
