Terrible performance again, totally lacking any spark, creativity, determination or tactical nous. I've been in the 'give him time' camp, but I honestly can't see how Grayson turns this around. We don't have even a flicker of hope that we are building something more entertaining or creative.
The main thing that worries me is that we yet again failed to come up with a way to beat a typical league one team. Most teams in this division will spoil and try to break up play and hope to hit you on the break or with a set piece and we don't know how to cope with it.
Gnanduillet's goal was very well taken, and he showed some decent touches in the first half, as did Dewsbury-Hall. The second half was a disaster. We were second to every ball and carved open at ease for their first goal. Heneghan's form is very worrying and Turton yet again failed to produce anything like a decent performance. The defending for their second and third goals was absolutely shambolic.
I haven't got a clue who would replace him, but it appears Grayson is on borrowed time.
